The title says he's overpowered, so I guess I can forgive him being a gary stu, but the rest is just terrible. The story was better in the manga has we get more fluid flow if dialog and battle scenes the light novel was overly compressed that was annoying selecting dialog from the descriptive of what’s happening then the few pieces of artwork in book was low quality that some made the chacthers eyes look overly big with long arms making it take a notch off the books like ability. After a few minutes had passed, Date was unscathed—and as for the knights, none of them were left standing.He'll suddenly be lording over people like a god (which I would normally think of as an enjoyable badass moment), but because he doesn't have any sort of personality or desires as a character, it's just like, "why should I care?
