This all makes this a very deep, dark, slightly sweet, gourmand and resinous blend that I just find much too much for my olfactory senses. With my testing of Purple Oud, I'd say this is a fragrance with an enormous sillage that people could smell as soon as you entered the room and that is why I don't think that this would be appropriate for work at all. This fragrance is absolutely smooth, low-key but attention grabbing, slightly comforting and yet very powerful in it's stance.

I agree with the previous reviewer, and despite I don't like to be mean, I have to seriously suggest anyone finding some remote similarity with Encre Noire to take an appointment with an otolaryngologist. I am an experience man on musk component and i feel the musk is used in this product “”may”” not be in very high quality. The projection was really good for the first 2hours after that it started to reduce its projection still after like 4 hrs I could still get whiffs of it often to me that means it was still projecting at a closer range.
