NOMAD OUTLAND WHISKY

In recent years, a number of distilleries have offered expressions that were either “double matured” or finished in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks: Auchentoshan Triple Wood, Glenmorangie La Santa, and GlenDronach 12YO, 21YO and Cask Strength are all examples of this style. malts and six grains are expertly blended together in Scotland, resulting in inviting aromas with malty fragrance, reminiscent of oak and sherry due to its ageing in American oak barrels. Following this the whisky then travels to Jerez where it is aged in old Pedro Ximenez casks in the unique environment of González Byass’ historic cellars.

The cellars’ location next to the sea, native yeasts in the cellars and the temperature and humidity all influence the character of the whisky. The whisky has some serious cred: González Byass has worked for about 100 years with luxury single malt brand The Dalmore (and other Whyte and MacKay brands) and, for many years, its current master blender Richard “The Nose” Paterson. The whisky is a blend of 25 single malts and six grain whiskies that range from five to eight years of age. The Service has been prepared by us solely for information purposes to Members and the Service is based on information we consider reliable and we obtain the contents of the Service from a number of different third party sources (including Contributions), but we do not endorse, support, represent, warrant or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of the Services and any information therein.

It is made with a selection of over 30 malt and grain whiskies aged between 5 and 8 years old, which are blended together and matured in Sherry butts in Scotland for three years. We may, but are not under any obligation, to release new functionalities and tools or other features for the Service every now and then. We don’t boss you around; we’re simply here to bring authenticity and understanding to all that enriches our lives as men on a daily basis.
