About this deal

You might think you know the story already because you read the headline, but I assure you, dear reader, there’s more to this terrifying tale of death and cursed metal. Nobot is a figure of Mos Espa folklore, and since the eerie droid doesn’t tell its own story, for that, we must rely on a Mos Espa resident steeped in the town’s history and legends. Great story about a robot who loses his bottom on a swing at the park and his adventures trying to find it. He studied Graphic Design at Derby University, and later moved back to Brighton where he met Sue Hendra.

He begins an adventure to find his bottom and seeks help from friends who have seen items that are of similar shape and colour, but no, to his dissapointment they are not his bottom! I definitely recommend her she seems to be a big hit in my children's school aswell this is how I found out about her. If you would like to change your settings or withdraw consent at any time, the link to do so is in our privacy policy accessible from our home page. We have also include a resource that allows your Year 1 / Year 2 class to cut out the questions and answers and match them together.

If you’re brave enough to push further into the home in pursuit of the droid, you’ll be treated to a short cutscene of it staring at you with a tilted head as ominous music builds and the camera zooms into its blank, emotionless face. This activity encourages your class to expand on the quality of their writing by focusing on how adjectives tell us more within writing. This book is suitable to be read to a child from birth and would fit into any KS1 setting with ease however I think that children of any age would enjoy looking at the book and talking about the story. After discussions exploring the words, your class will complete the activity by adding the word into context of the story.

I read this book a few times over the Christmas 2022 holidays as it was a gift for one of my grandchildren. This was a fantastic read out loud with reception, we had our giggles every time the word 'bottom' got mentioned, baring in mind that's pretty much every page! This is the second book I bought from Sue Hendra and have every intention of expanding my collection. The droid vanishes after dashing into one of the hovel's rooms, then a key mysteriously drops from the ceiling, where it is used to open the crawlspace. Bird was using it as a nest, but it was too heavy; Bear used it in his drum kit, but it was too tinny; the Squirrels built sandcastles with it…and now it looks as if they’re sailing away in it. Bird was using it as a nest, but it was too heavy; Bear used it in his drum kit, but it was too tinny; the Squirrels built sandcastles with it. Today, Nobot and most of the rest of these stories are part of Star Wars Legends, though its appearance in this game does seem to at least indicate that Disney and Lucasfilm might be open to bridging a version of this creepy droid back into the Star Wars canon of today.

In The Skywalker Saga, the events of which are non-canon, Nobot appears as the focus of the mission "Ghost Protocol," in which the player discovers the droid in a haunted hovel in Mos Espa, where he is seen running inside with a kyber brick. When you spot the droid a small cutscene plays in which you see it holding a valuable Kyber Brick before it poofs away near the entrance of a small building. In 2006 she met Paul Linnet and could instantly see that she'd met a fellow nitwit who liked talking nonsense. Bernard the Robot loses his bottom when he decides to go for a swing ride, gets off the swing and guess what?

This is a fun story to share with a toddler or those slightly older and it will be asked to be read repeatedly I am sure. Then, at the beach, he spots some rabbits, sailing off in something… Despite his shouts, they disappear. Pre-school children find bottoms hilarious and so there's no doubt they will find plenty of entertainment in this picture book. Young readers will enjoy flicking through the pages and trying to find the bottom that is used for many different things.

The trio walked past Nobot, who had burns down the right side of its body that scarred its plating and right photoreceptor black. The children enjoy this story a lot, it has relatable pages such as a swing, and building sandcastles. We and our partners use data for Personalised ads and content, ad and content measurement, audience insights and product development. The pictures are cute, the story great and the word "bottom" used at least once on every page making it the funniest story ever for my kids.
