I have to admit when I I found this book in the library I thought it was gonna be a typical Kevin Hart comedy. Kevin the soap smell nice, but I need something beyond the rain, it doesn't have to pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but some fine spun wisdom would be great! I tried to jump on the social media bandwagon years ago but quickly realized it only made my negativity soar. This book is exactly what it says on the cover a pep talk 🙂 I felt after reading it like I just had a great conversation with a good friend.This masterclass homes in on why micromanaging your life and other people can lead to toxic relationships, stress, failure, and just generally being annoying to be around. This is a quick light read to find out if you have control issues or how to understand why someone you care about does. I appreciated the simple knowledge given to readers who were completely unfamiliar with the how-it’s of creating a screenplay. At the end of the book he suggests ways to “tame the monsters,” in other words, use them for your good instead of to bring you down. He believes that anybody who follows the same mental fitness training regime will become a better version of themselves.
