To me, I feel it lies somewhere in between the old Boss BF-2 flangers and the Electro-Harmonix Deluxe mistress. I found that the Tai Chi sounded much better on guitars with single coil pickups as opposed to those with humbuckers. We do also have two footswitches: Octave Up triggers the octave-up effect that blends with fuzz, while True Bypass turns the unit on or off. Finding the perfect settings will take you little to no time, and leave more for diving into all the different sounds. However, as I mentioned at the start of this list, there are essentially three series or ranges of pedals by Joyo.
