It's a sweet story that can be looked at from several levels of development and plant seeds for the future. If you’re working with a similar group we’d suggest you get crafty with the DIY cog card sheets, a laminator, scissors and a set of coloured lolly pop sticks! When he goes missing, Lily looks everywhere for him and it turns out NONE of the other toys means as much to her as her first and favourite Blue Kangaroo.Lisa Nugent, Head of Donor Recruitment at DKMS said: ”The success that we enjoy today in registering potential donors can be attributed to our earliest patient campaigns, the first of which was Margot’s appeal. I appreciated having a few simple facts in the back about small steps we can all take to help our oceans. You will find many creative activities based on each book to make reading even more enjoyable and interactive. I LOVE YOU, BLUE is a charmingly illustrated children's book (ages 3-7) with an important message about pollution, environmentalism, and the interdependence of life. With a brief writing style and evocative illustrations, this is a simple story that conveys an important message of environmentalism and the need to clean up the oceans.

I received a copy of I Love You, Blue by Barroux from Blue Slip Media, Barroux, and Flyaway Books in exchange for an honest review. Friends and relatives keep adding to her collection of cuddly toys until gradually Blue Kangaroo is ousted. In these colourful illustrations and simple yet impactful texts, a story quickly unfolds and ends with a strong message to save the oceans and save the whales.

I Love You Blue is a very good books to help teach children the importance of keeping our oceans clean for all people and sea life. At the time, we were struck by how little awareness there was around stem cell transplants and there was an absence of another day like it. The first “Team Margot Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Awareness Day” was in 2015 and was designed to promote awareness of the need for more potential stem cell donors to join the UK and worldwide registers. Joining the registry is really easy, all you have to do is tell a member of staff at the start of your next blood donation session that you want to join the registry and an extra sample of blood will be taken during your donation.
