About this deal

They have a focused character overall and seem to have an improved tonality but a tone sweep revealed my set had a slight right channel deficiency and channel imbalance between 7kHz and 7. However, its exceptional staging capabilities create an intimate and captivating experience, with the midrange being particularly prominent and forward. I find it to be a very comfy headband, and it allows you to perfectly position the headphone on your head. They’re not presented as bright but certainly were elevated in definition compared to the original Arya.

Overall HiFiMAN Arya Organic is a well-built headphone that is pleasant to keep on the head for hours and additionally, it looks pretty good. The second version employed a cloth screen behind the driver and that opened things up a bit as far as soundstage size and driver efficiency. Personally, I think that aria organic likes current very much and scales great with better sources such as xduoo xd05 plus or hifiman ef600 on the R2r system. One thing I did note about the pressure strap is a subtle ribbed cushioning which is not on the Ananda version. For those of you who’d like to know more about Hifiman and their founder, there’s always this interview we did with him: https://headfonia.

Also, with the open back design Even poorly mastered songs, when played with this headphone sound, maybe I wouldn’t use the word “good” but “acceptable” is more appropriate. g. Feliks Euforia Evo, the HD8XX sounds really good, but at the same moment Arya Organic elevates the listening experience to a completely different level, you can discover something new even in songs you thought you knew really well.

The filling inside can be used as a foam stand, which is a very good idea on the manufacturer’s part.If you’re a bass-head, then you should definitely avoid this headphone, but if you’re looking for one that reproduces the bass in a neutral but pleasant way as well, then you should definitely give them a try.

It could be the tuning implementation responsible for the slight increase in bass presence which I bet was one of HIFIMAN’s goals with this model. If you are looking for a headphone with a very engaging dynamic quality that adds some kick to your music, I think that the Arya wouldn’t be my first recommendation, and I would instead encourage you to look at some of Focal or Audeze’s offerings, as they tend to provide a significantly more energetic presentation. That means higher pitching notes have a slightly bright overtone but that never seems to translate to an overly thin or sibilant quality through the raised upper mids. The Hifiman Arya stealth is an open back planar magnetic (orthodynamic) headphone to use at home in a more silent environment. This is mitigated by the lateral clamp so the stability is good, better than the Edition XS’s taller single band system which has a reduced contact spot making it easier to shift when moving. But regardless of the improved quality, and the ideal desktop 5-foot length, a lot of Arya Organic owners might eventually grab another cable. It can enchant you with its musical and sweet vocals, but also pamper you with beautiful details in the background and excellent resolution. If you are someone who cares about audio quality "deeply," you'll want a pair of headphones like these. I’m betting HIFIMAN found that it was interfering with the magnet array and found the mesh rather restrictive so they quickly went back to the drawing board.
