This reboot of the iconic (and often a bit grotesque) horror franchise looks like it should provoke a lot of conversation.

While Voight is given a great introduction in the opening sequence, he's unfortunately absent for a good chunk of the movie and this does a disservice to the film in my opinion because it forces Pinhead to take more of a role in the antagonist part of the story than should be necessary. Things only grow worse when Riley comes into possession of a mysterious puzzle box, which inadvertently summons the Cenobites, led by the Hell Priest Pinhead (featuring Jamie Clayton in the iconic role). The new film comes from director David Bruckner and stars Odessa A’zion, Jamie Clayton and Adam Faison. Katie Rife of Polygon criticized the characters and the length, but praised the set design and Clayton's performance, and felt overall the film "might even be the second best in the series after Hellbound: Hellraiser II". Voight (Goran Višnjić) is already tempting unwitting people into unlocking the box that is tied to the Cenobites.
