Every year we bring out a new festive menu with a Thai twist for anyone who fancies an alternative to tired turkey and soggy sprouts! Yes, we love welcoming little Squidlets and have a special menu with games and colouring to entertain them. We know we still have a little way to go, and we continue to look at options that are kinder to the environment.

We use LED lights in all our new restaurants and will be upgrading older sites where possible as part of our refurb programme.We’re 5 minutes’ walk from the Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds so if you’re catching a show, why not book an early table and treat yourself to a Thai curry or noodles before you go on to enjoy the performance? Our kitchen appliances are all high-grade energy rating A+ and above and our teams are trained to reduce water wastage, for example by ensuring taps are not left on unnecessarily. For something more intimate, a table under our romantic pergola creates a wonderful date night setting! With its showpiece glass frontage and stunning, botanical interior inspired by Thailand’s abundance of exotic ingredients from sea and land, our Chelmsford restaurant offers the ultimate dining experience.

During lockdown we were delighted to offer a discount for NHS staff when dining in at Giggling Squid restaurants. We have an allergens guide identifying all the allergens in our dishes which you can access via a QR code or you can ask our staff for a printed copy. It all started in a tiny Fisherman’s cottage (now our Brighton restaurant) where the first menu was dreamt up.If you’re looking for a place for lunch or dinner with your student son or daughter, our banquettes are perfect for sharing dishes and giggles.
