Each box set also includes a hardcover book and an individually numbered lithograph featuring a photograph of Clapton by Carl Studna. If the video quality would be better would be appreciated, but i guess with 30 years old video recording this is the best that could be done.On the straight-shooting blues material, Clapton rightly sandwiches himself between one of his heroes, the veteran guitarist Buddy Guy, and young blood Robert Cray, who was weaned on the legacies of both players. The blues band does some standard blues tunes that always has followed Clapton through his career Watch Yourself, Worried Life Blues, Hoodoo Man and Have You Ever Loved A Woman.

When all shows had been performed, Eric together with producer Russ Titelman, decided that the playing did not reach the standard of a Clapton release. Then came three nights with a blues band, featuring Johnnie Johnson on keyboards, Richard Cousins on bass, and Jamie Oldaker on drums, plus special guests Buddy Guy and Robert Cray. Meanwhile Eric’s love of the Blues is expressed as shares the stage with legendary Blues musicians such as Albert Collins and Buddy Guy for classics such as ‘Black Cat Bone’ and ‘My Time After a While’. Standalone versions of the individual concerts – 24 Nights: Rock, 24 Nights: Blues, and 24 Nights: Orchestral – will be released the same day in 2-CD/DVD and 3-LP (Rock and Orchestral) and 2-LP (Blues) configurations. This timeless Robert Johnson composition has been a staple in most Clapton setlists for decades, but the first section of this almost 9-minute version of the song features Clapton and the band playing an inspired improvised introduction. The end effect, unfortunately, is less grandly cathartic than decorative, something better suited to the end-credit sequence in a moody thriller. Why can't GZ Vinyl (Czech Republic) produce decent, clean and good sounding vinyl, after all these years? Vinyl is full of lines, paper residue, dust and even finger prints, housed in cheap and hard white paper inner-sleeves.

Currently being referred to as an anniversary edition, if that's just referring to when work started on its assembly or if it'll be a late "30th anniversary" edition I'm not sure.
