The heroic hound with a real nose for justice now has a furry feline sidekick, and together they have a mystery to sniff out!
Dav Pilkey's wildly popular Dog Man series appeals to readers of all ages and explores universally positive themes, including empathy, kindness, persistence, and the importance of being true to one's self. But 80-HD runs outta power, because in the first chapter, Li'l Petey used Solar panels instead of atomic batteries. Petey is also arrested as well (who has been on the run for 5 to 6 days due to him escaping near the end of the previous book). The title of Chapter 4: An Aching Kind of Growing and Yolay's dialogue on Page 233 are direct quotes from East of Eden.First, is not giving up on being the best person you can be even when you have messed up in the past. And lastly how you are not destined to do bad things just because someone in your family has done them. While his friends work to prove his innocence, Dog Man struggles to find his place among dogs and people. Together, Ricky and his Robot face the bullies, and save Squeakyville from a giant evil lizard monster. When he sees Yolay and Dog Man are in trouble, he runs to the exit, and opens the door slamming in the Guard's face BAM!

Naomi, Melvin, Pedro, and Poppy are just a few of the twenty-one rambunctious, funny, and talented baby frogs who share their stories in the Cat Kid Comic Club. When a new kitty sitter arrives and a famous movie starlet goes missing, it’s up to Dog Man and Cat Kid to save the day! To counteract the powers of the costumes Petey swiped from the studio, Dog Man also dons weaponized garb.Petey apologizes for tricking his son with his disguise, and explains that the cops are looking everywhere for him and might throw him in jail and now he has no one to help.
