Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, reaction mass of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2Hisothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1) and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one. Wood preservers that are advertised as being waterproof and resistant to weathering often contain wax, oil, silicone or a combination of these. Surfaces painted with Cuprinol Garden Shades can be cleaned at regular intervals with a dampened, lint-free cloth or Cuprinol Garden Furniture Cleaner.

Before application can begin, ensure that all surfaces are clean, dry and free from any loose debris. Don't apply in temperatures below 5°C, in damp conditions or if rain is likely before the product has dried. Before you begin, make sure that you always stir the product thoroughly before emptying the contents into the sprayer and refer to the sprayer instructions for full instructions before every use. Its special pigments ensure a rich colour and allow the natural texture of the wood grain to shine through. If your chosen surface has already been previously coated with paint or varnish, it must be stripped back to its original bare wood before Cuprinol Garden Shades can be applied directly.In situations like this we always recommend a test area before starting the main project to test adhesion.
