About this deal

this book is delivered in a stark and barebones prose, but the story itself is surprisingly convoluted and intricate. Having revealed their identities, Yuko explains that because the killers, as minors, are protected by the Juvenile Law of 1947, turning them in wouldn't make a difference. I think we regular people may have forgotten a basic truth—we don’t really have the right to judge anyone else.

She explains that it is her ultimate revenge, to let Shuya's mother die by his own hand, and claims that with her revenge completed, Shuya's path to redemption has begun. But she’s starting to push back against the sheltered life Cooper has created for her - and he’s still haunted by the painful truth of what it took to get them there. That night, twelve-year-old Lily Jorgenson was left alone and terrified in the family camper—even her teenage sister Iris is missing. I realized that revenge was never going to wash away what had happened, never going to make me stop hating you with every ounce of my being. Jeremy Crawford, husband of best-selling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his injured wife is unable to finish.

Asako, Emily's mother, cursed the surviving girls, vowing that they would pay for her daughter's murder. When Manami regained consciousness, Naoki realized that he had the chance to succeed where Shuya failed and drowned her. A decade ago, the company announced that they had found the gene that pairs each of us with our soul mate.

Narrated by Mizuki, a classmate of the two murderers -- now also identified by name as Naoki and Shūya -- it finds a new teacher in charge, nicknamed Werther (a buffoon who somehow manages not to learn that he has two murderers in his class -- gossip that surely would be hard to miss in a school-environment). However, unlike her preceding book, Confessions delves much deeper into the pulp-gruesome atmosphere with little concern for its readers. I had a vague feeling that someone was still holding my arms behind my back, and the sound of laughter rang in my ears. Its style is reminiscent of Minato’s second translated book, Penance, as each chapter is afforded a second-person perspective on a particular event. Naoki claimed he wanted to get arrested, and revealed to her what happened on the day of Moriguchi's confession.

the only issue was the repetitive events and repetitive naaration which was okay at first but then I really started to get bored reading about them again and again. Minato has some decent ideas here, though the kids' depravity is still a bit hard to credit (as are some of the details along the way). Captain Mat Joubert is left scrambling for answers in a case that might be his last chance to prove that his life's slow spiral will not pull him under. Dos alumnos de trece años de la clase en la Yuko Moriguchi es tutora han asesinado a su hija de cuatro. A Lord of the Flies for the modern world, Minato mines the dark specter of youth, while simultaneously demonstrating some of the deeper perils of our global culture.
