Logitech RightSense is a suite of proactive technologies built into Rally Camera that automate a better user experience. The 3D bracket file and OpenSCAD source are on Thingiverse, so anyone else who might want to build a similar ceiling-mounted camera rig could do so. I knew metal was the best option, but I didn't know how I'd make a bracket thick enough with the tools I had.

Enjoy hands-free convenience or take manual control: participants are always in view and optimally pictured on-screen. Rally Camera captures up to 4K video at up to 30 frames per second, ideal for Ultra HD recording and streaming. Each camera mount is designed for flexibility, allowing installers to easily level each mounting location with special slotted holes. This provides visual affirmation that the camera is unable to “see” anything in the meeting space when idle.

You can also install this ceiling mount to a standard US single gang device box, or any 4” round or square junction box. Some people mount semi-permanent camera rigs on a pole on their desks ( example), but my adjustable-height desk (by UPLIFT) is not rock solid, so sometimes when I'm typing or accidentally bump the desk, anything mounted to the desktop wobbles. I have a small sheet metal folding tool and some aviation snips, but I can only use that on relatively thin metal—16 gauge, or about 1.
