The absence of foam or gel means that road buzz can be felt more, but on fast descents this is good, as I can feel the road and judge traction better on corners with poor surface. Although Brooks fans don't like it's titanium chassis, it's a thoroughbred Brooks saddle all the way. I chose the Swift because it has more of a race bike geometry, and lends itself better to a drop-bar bikethan the famous B17. The saddle is not sagging in appearance and is, I'd say, in excellent as-new condition, other than a few self-inflicted symmetrical dimples in the leather from my anatomy. Rim brakes being perfectly adequate, even preferable in some cases, is one of them, and leather saddles is another.

Personnaly I think it's great looking saddle, and I can ride a double century with no sore spots on my buttocks.
