About this deal

Funnily experimental and seriously radio-friendly, "Parklife" is their true concept album, somewhat informed by the predecessor LP "Modern Life Is Rubbish", an intriguing statement-by-title, fully absorbed with "Parklife" into a tour-de-force, socio-political 16-track masterpiece. His full length debut on Daptone Records is equal parts raw feeling and elegance and exudes confidence and charm.

A routinely great artist, much of Sufjan's universal appeal comes from his skills as a gifted narrator, pairing personal musings on love and devotion with commentary on American culture, whilst welding folk and electronica, the ambient and existential. Parklife" is an irreplaceable slice of British pop culture that solidified Blur's place in music history. Double LP on heavyweight 180 gram, audiophile vinyl and housed in a replica of the original sleeve artwork. The organic qualities of vinyl allow fans to engage with the album in a new light, presenting a heightened appreciation for the group's musicianship. If anyone can point me towards this version or at least the closest thing to it, I would be very appreciative. The diverse tracklisting and exceptional sound quality on vinyl, coupled with the iconic album art, make this release a nostalgic treasure that can be enjoyed by generations to come. It can't be the reissue from 2012 as that pressing came on two discs, and this one has all tracks on one slab of vinyl. The only other song that’s markedly different is “Trouble In The Message Centre”, with much changed atmosphere and lyrics to the released version. La calidad de sonido es excelente, lo único que le falta es solo un poquitíto más de volumen pero todo lo demás (prensado, master utilizado y equalización) es muy bueno.

Item details: because this item shares the same barcode as other variants, we can't guarantee the color/version of the vinyl. Blur's 'Parklife' vinyl album transports fans back to the golden age of Britpop with a warm, authentic audio experience.

Over the last few months he has disarmed packed rooms of rowdy concert goers, leaving them silent as they hold fast to every syllable sung. Witty, ironic and irreverent, Parklife remains one of those rare albums that sum up a specific place and time (Britain in the mid-1990s). It's a must-have for fans of both Blur and '90s Britpop, and a cherished addition to my ever-growing vinyl collection.
