To play back HD on your bluray player from an optical disk, you need to either create a disk in AVCHD format (you can use DVD blanks for this if the content will fit - up to about 2 hrs of BBC HD will fit in HD on a DVD blank), or burn to a Blu-ray blank using BD format.I have had channels randomly shifted to the 800s when there were too many for the software to cope with but deleting unwatched channels has alleviated that problem. So it appears my rooftop aerial is no longer compliant and I may be getting a new aerial fitted free of charge under the government scheme.
