About this deal

I continue to like the character of Mallory but something in the story was missing this time, it was just a little too predictable. You've heard his true story - now go deeper into Ant Middleton's world with his ultra-authentic thriller series. Mallory takes on the challenge but is faced with some extremely ruthless men, all in the employ of one person, who wants to exact maximum revenge against a rival gang. An outspoken figure with a lot to say, he also offers health and fitness tips, keeping his viewers fit and active through his work.

Red Mist (Mallory, book 2) by Ant Middleton - Fantastic Fiction

The character development has really come along and Mallory is becoming one of those hero’s that you will gladly revisit. Middleton was the Chief Instructor on SAS: Who Dares Wins, a reality quasi-military training television programme produced by Channel 4, which was first broadcast in 2015. This captivating performance delves into Ant's remarkable life in the military, his unique training techniques, and the invaluable experiences that have equipped him to conquer any obstacle life throws his way. I had hoped that Red Mist would have followed on from the cliffhanger at the end of the last book, but there was no mention of it - maybe it’ll come back if there’s a third? Red Mist (Mallory) by Ant Middleton | Goodreads

The show was a re-enactment of the Mutiny on the Bounty and Middleton described the experience as "mentally speaking, the hardest thing I've ever done". This somewhat farfetched story plays out in France and Switzerland where our hero stops a hit, prevents gang warfare and rescues a damsel who pretty much holds her own. I remember being surprised by how much I enjoyed the first Mallory book, but there wasn't much surprise this time around.Largely seen on Channel Four, he’s appeared in a number of different shows, often looking at his own army training, becoming a celebrity in his own right. Since then he’s featured in a number of other television shows, including ‘Mutiny,’‘Escape,’ and ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ to name just a few. If there's any chance of shooting, fighting, action and the like you can bank on him being in the center. In this 2nd installment, Mallory finds himself in Paris, looking for a young girl who's grandfather is worried for her safety.
