I have a KitchenAid that I got a few years ago, and I have never been able to get it to work correctly. I was so sorry to learn that your company has gone into administration I have bought many products in the past including your halogen ovens and other products. Seems a massive waste disposing of said processor, when it is just a small part that needs replacing. I bought an appkettle from Andrew James - it seems AppKettle have gone bust, the app no longer exists, the servers are down so it doesn't function.

I just got it last week have not used it yet but I hope it will work well,besides I was encouraged by the many good reviews I read about it. The replacement mixer has a good range of attachments, but I do find it very noisy and the timings given don't really mix things properly - I am constantly having to scrape down the sides of the bowl. Is it bad that he thinks that's an acceptable 30th birthday present, or is it worse that I was delighted! After about 2 years it started to have problems, when turning on the first speed it would not start working, so I had to keep turning it up a speed until it starts and then turn back to speed 1, then it would work. The dough hook and beater blade are made from special aluminum which is perfect for making breads and cakes.The unlimited uses will see your stand mixer being used to create all types of home baking favourites. I purchased a halogen oven , with the attached lid thinking it would be an improvement over my cheaper model that finally blew the bulb after 2 1/2 year's , wrong ! I bought quite a few things from Andrew James and always found them excellent especially their halogen oven. It was very goood,didn't scrape the sides atall till the cake was done mixing and my cake turned out soft and soo good.

I can't even begin to imagine how many times this splash guard has saved me from covering myself in bright red velvet cake batter, dry flour and milk. It is a bit noisy if you put it on high, and the lifting mechanism has become a little stiff on mine.I purchased one of their food processors which despite being only 15 months old developed a fault causing the cutting blade shaft to rub against the lid causing it to melt and contaminate the food in the bowl with plastic, this was so extreme that a part originally attached to the internal shaft welded itself to the cutting tool.
