About this deal

Those books don’t say anything very much either, and are sold mostly on the strength of the name on the cover rather than the contents within. yes, similarly excited and appreciative of the Partridge audiobooks and Gibbons brothers input, but slightly puzzled by what is left to say about Alan (in any media format) from 1994 to present. Jokes aplenty, and continuing the cringe comedy mastery of watching Partridge be Partridge, Coogan's character holds its claim as some of the best comedy work in Britain. Alan’s ridiculous literary flourishes, his tortured similes and pedantic digressions, are never overused.

Sign our petition to keep people in their homes Urgent action is needed to prevent even more people being pushed into homelessness. Although it’s treading a lot of ground that will be familiar to fans of the character (the ending of a career in television, the renovation of a property) it manages to put a fresh spin on it, helped along beautifully by Partridge’s ideas of a clever structure and literary devices. Alan Partridge is one of Britain's favourite and most decorated unemployed broadcasters - although he does have a podcast.

There's enough here to keep fans of Brand Partridge on-side, but I suspect that as soon as you finish you'll fire up Nomad or I, Partridge.

Elsewhere, suspicious over the pervasive air of anxiety within the BBC, he wonders why Jeremy Clarkson was really axed from Top Gear. In Big Beacon, Norwich’s favourite son and best broadcaster, Alan Partridge, triumphs against the odds.
