Compared to a previous similar Chinese product I would have expected some options for selecting quality or compression level, obviously at the cost of a slower acquisition and bigger files. You get scanner control software that includes everything you need to transfer and capture films to UltraHD or HDfiles.
Why not have the DSLR take a photo of 4 consecutive film frames at a time (or 8, scanning two film strips side by side).
