Here’s the simple pruning rule: Orange side towards the tip of the branch, black blade towards the base of the branch. Because of this, it’s one of the best telescopic tree pruners for neatly trimming areas with ornamental bushes. I usually ‘torture test’ tools in reviews, using them slightly beyond what’s reasonable to determine their durability.
