I was MINDBLOWN🤯 at the plot twists! I CRIEDat their suffering 🥺. & was definitely wanting to ONE HAND my kindle when it came to the SMUUUUTTTTT 💦 While sex was a big topic and eventually quite a handful of smut scenes- they did have a nice build up to it. Also, their time together wasn’t just sex driven. Cash tries to prove that this isn’t all a big charade and indulges in his sweet side by acts of services.cash. oh how i love you. i honestly thought you were gay there for a minute but when the book opened up about why & how you weren’t with a woman was like GAHHHHHH. i think that your character is so incredibly interesting A quarter billion dollars and one existential crisis later, Cash Primrose was dragging me down the aisle in the name of convenience. The characters are flawed, yet beyond perfect. The cameos and intersection of other stories is what I live for. I won’t go into details, but if you like that sort of thing, you’ll love this book. To me, Cash and Ariana has had the best chemistry so far. I liked their banter and their soft moments. It was fun to read Arianna push Cash’s buttons. Her stranger turns out to be Cash Primrose. A quarter billion dollars & a marriage certificate later, Ariana finds herself expecting the other shoe to drop.

FINALLY, my review for souls and sorrows! i’m not going to lie, i was this close 🤏 to dnfing it. it was up there with redeemed in terms of dnfing it, it wasn’t necessarily because of the plot but more or so how slow it started and i was very frustrated with the plot & how it began. ariana. if i ever get to meet you either in the afterlife, or my imagination i’m giving you an enormous hug, and hopefully you will let me. you are such a strong woman and you deserve every single sliver of happiness and obsession that cash—or your readers give you. Honestly, I was flying into my happy place throughout this journey. Again I absolutely loved Kal & Elena's story but after them, Cash!!!! You made me weak on my knees. Please don’t judge me for this statement, but the treatment of Ariana’s trauma was one the biggest highlights of this book for me. Before you look at me sideways and call my therapist, let me explain. I’m easily entertained, however not always easily impressed by the writing and structure of a novel or the treatment of the characters. This book really impressed me. How the author used dialogue and physical quirks to showcase the character’s struggle was impressive. It allowed me to empathize with Ariana on a level that I wouldn’t have done naturally. I really thought I would love Cash because he was a sexy lawyer with dirty mouth and wore glasses, and I love men with glasses, but the things this man did. I've read some really weird shit in my life that I thought was hot, but the things this man was doing WERE NOT. The examples:Let it be a reminder for my bratty little wife, should she think about stepping out on me. If I won't have her, no one else will either." My other issue with this book is the plot line involving Ricci Inc. It was confusing and not pieced together well and ended up overshadowing everything and everyone in this book, for no reason. I felt like all of Ariana’s actions were obsolete which was frustrating. The plot twist wasn’t surprising and it wasn’t as impactful as I would have wanted. I just feel after everything Ariana went through, she didn’t get the justice she deserved. Cash didn’t treat her right either. Ugh. His actions were never explained to her. Granted nothing was explained to her, because they both never talked about anything except maybe sex? But even that was occasional. Honestly, If you’d told me prior to reading this book that any of the male leads would rival Jonas for my affections, I would have laughed in your face, then enters Cash. He’s basically imprinted on me because I finished this book a couple nights ago and he’s still on my mind. During the day: If you have a flexible schedule, you may find it helpful to take breaks during the day to read a book. I was just.. disappointed. I liked the dark romance aspects, but everything felt really disjointed to me. Smut was pretty A+, and I really enjoyed the dark romance aspect of it. One thing I enjoy about Miller's writing is that there's no morally gray, it's just dark romance. My morals kept trying to push their way in, but honestly I enjoyed the possessiveness, the push and pull, and crazy wild chemistry of the characters. However, a big however.. I felt like their interactions were just so haphazard. I got a handle on it maybe in the middle third of the book, kinda, but I got whiplash with very little context about what was happening from one moment, one line to the next. I felt very thrown around and didn't know what was happening or why and not in a good way.

Despite the gorgeous cover, this one just didn’t have a similar feel as the others in the Monsters & Muses series. I’m completely enamored by this cast of characters. Souls and Sorrows is without a doubt my new top favorite of this dark and sexy series. What a delicious treat this turned out to be! But one taste wouldn’t have been enough, and I would have compromised my position just to keep her looking at me like she wanted to swallow me whole.” Souls and Sorrows, Sav. Miller Arianna was alright. I understood her character and am glad she grew throughout the book. I honestly thought she was alright, not my favorite character. However, the two together were cute. I love how Arianna was so concerned and worried about her past (because that’s all she knew) and Cash, after learning about some of her past, gave her the time and all of his attention. And the spice? Well dang. It was hotter than a trip to a sauna. It was sexy as it was unique and dark. Perfection. And I devoured every second of it. Her new husband treats her as an equal, as a partner (which is more than most women in the Mafia world get). But she can't help but wait for the monster that her mother assured her, will ALWAYS come. When nothing else comes, I shift, clasping the cloth over her nose and mouth. She jolts awake, panic sending her limbs sprawling, but I press my weight on top of her, smothering her for several seconds. It is an extraordinary piece of work, a perfect balancing act with terror on one side and love on the other. This exceptionally well-written novel is all about suspense, thrill and drama, including the relationships between generations and what happens between long-standing friends. The characters are sensitively portrayed, as is their recovery, and the hopeful ending is realistic. Readers of domestic dramas will be enthralled. For those who love gritty, somewhat nasty mysteries with weird, and an exotic setting in one of the world’s most famous cities, this thriller mystery will satisfy. It is perfect for a long plane trip or a rainy weekend. Details About I couldn't get ENOUGH of Cash & Ariana.. I just wanted a years LATER epilogue! I NEEED it like I need air to BREATHHHHHEEE SAV! PLEASE!

It was so heartwarming seeing Kal in father mode. I actually like the brother-in-law role that Kal has for himself. He cares not just for Elena, but for her loved ones. The only thing I wished the author should have maybe expanded on was why Ronnie, the driver was the first notified that Ariana’s dad was dead. Even Cash seemed confused as to why. There was a slight explanation, but it didn’t clear the issue entirely as Cash was still suspicious. This book got me from the start. I just read the prologue and I was so hooked. I already knew from the first lines that I would be into this story. This book has such a wonderful start and it was so gripping. I couldn't put this book down and I ended up reading the entire book in one sitting because I was so engaged in the story. It's been way harder for me to really get into books lately, so this was basically a miracle, so thank you book for that. Then there’s the end. It was just alright. I felt like the ending was kind of abrupt. Like, it was fine, but just kind of came to an end. There was a story line that wasn’t finished, so I hope that gets resolved in the next book or it’s going to be on my mind until the day I die. The plot in this book was just so much fun to follow. I was really invested in the world and how much world-building went into it. I just loved seeing what would happen next and I was very interested in seeing what it would be. This story just kept me super engaged in the story and I thought it was a lot of fun to read. The world in this book was just built very nicely and it gave the book such a fun element while I was reading and it just made me even more engaged in the story. He made her a ring which she couldn’t get off if she wanted, because her finger would probably start bleeding badly.
