About this deal

Articulation Geometry - Strategically placed grooves in the outsole, midsole, and upper provide points for the shoe to move with your foot whilst providing the ultimate level of support and comfort The best golf shoes above are split into spiked (or cleated) and spikeless designs and there are pros and cons of each. Spiked golf shoes offer better grip and stability but don't sit as low to the ground as spikeless models. A shoe design that looks very much like a trainer, we recently put the model through its paces. First things first the Adapt Foam, a combination of EVA cushioning and an impact resistant polymer, creates a firm feeling shoe whilst still being comfortable. This shoe does not fall into the trap of being too soft. Articulating PWRCAGE– PUMA’s strategic use of vowels and capitalization is sometimes baffling but the point is that the PWRCAGE structure provides a more secure fit. To a degree, it mimics what you get with BOA and Disc systems.

Puma IGNITE Articulate Disc Golf Shoe Review 2022 Puma IGNITE Articulate Disc Golf Shoe Review

Articulation geometry is behind the somewhat quirky name of the latest spiked shoe from Puma. The new technology allows the shoe to move with your foot while still providing a strong level of support. In practice, it works brilliantly and the shoes were a pleasure to play golf in. The styling is subtle but smart and Puma’s Ignite Foam provides a good amount of comfort and energy return in the midsole. Puma IGNITE Articulate Mens Golf Shoes - Sale

Not all the time, mind you, but occasionally it sounds like a well-worn innerspring mattress during playtime. In my estimation, the Freestyle is one of the most unstructured spiked golf shoes ever made and, while that might sound like a bad thing (and for some it is a bad thing), there’s a “freedom of movement, let your feet explore the ground” kind of feeling. It’s ideal for golfers who want more traction than many spikeless golf shoes deliver but still want some stability without feeling like they’re standing on a platform anchored to the ground. I’m going to level with you. My hope was that the IGNITE Articulate would conjure memories of the Titan Tour golf shoe. The Titan Tour was our 2015 Editors’ Choice for Best Golf shoe. It remains my favorite PUMA shoe. When it comes to the right fit it is also worth considering different laces. Normal laces are good for most but for some golfers, BOA laced shoes provide more convenient fastening and shouldn’t loosen during the course of a round, but are usually a tad more expensive. As far as wide golf shoes go, the IGNITE Articulate isn’t as wide as some others. It’s definitely not FootJoy Tour Alpha BOA wide, for example. It’s fine for me but if you need a really wide shoe, the Articulate might not get it done. Since those humble beginnings, our endeavour has blossomed into a robust and trusted online retailer, representing the leading brands in the golf industry. We take immense pride in being your go-to destination for all things golf! Spikeless golf shoes offer off-course versatility. They are perfect for driving in the car to the golf course, playing a round, and then driving home again because they are usually light and comfortable, but most won't offer as much traction as a spiked shoe. Puma’s ExoShell upper material is an engineered mesh to provide a structure fused underneath TPU film that supports and provides a 1-year waterproof warranty with the shoe. The ignite foam acts as the midsole foam to provide energy return, responsive ride and immediate comfort.
