For its legions of happy users, Tarte Shape Tape is practically synonymous with “concealer.” After testing it, we see why. The long-wearing concealer boasts a full coverage, satin-matte formula and a 16-hour wear time, and its shades range from “very fair with pink undertones” to “very deep with peach undertones.” In our experience, choosing the correct shade is easy, and it perfectly matches what is described on the bottle. The Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer ( available at Target) has an incredibly limited shade range of just 14, majority being light colors. The applicator felt dry on the skin and didn’t hold a lot of product. Colour correctors work incredibly well alongside your concealer; as the name suggests they colour correct rather than completely cover up. So for example, if you have blue or purple under your eyes, it's useful to use a peachy, orange-toned corrector before your concealer.
