About this deal

The MCs, Sierra (h) and Kayden (H), were pretty good. I didn't really hate anything about them although Sierra pissed me off a couple times with her choices, mostly at the end of the book. Kayden has a tender heart and a kind spirit - if not a little tainted from the darkness that he seems to carry around with him. And despite him being hot and cold with me, it's getting much harder for me to stay away." The writing obviously could have been better. It just needed to be more descriptive and less...Wattpad-y??? The two of them decide to work together to take Jax down, and may end up falling in love in the process.

The other great part of this story was getting to see some familiar faces a.k.a. Alex, Daniel, Cara, and Simon from the first book! I haven’t read the first book in a long time (not since it was on Wattpad), but I had remembered some parts of Alex and Daniel’s story so it wasn’t hard to understand their dynamic in this book. I also loved seeing the close friendships formed between Alex, Cara, and Sienna! If you’ve read the books in the Perfect series, then you know that the friendships created become a central part of the found family dynamic between all the characters which I throughly love! The paintball scene was a great moment in seeing the girls and guys hang out together, and of course for Sienna and Kayden to share a moment together. I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon Claudia Tan’s Perfect Addiction and realised that there was a film adaption in the works. This was largely due to the fact that Claudia and I come from the same country. The other reason that I was intrigued was the concept seemed interesting and college-aged cast of characters (instead of the usual high school-aged nonsense).I really liked that the dynamics between the two. Kayden was right to hold to his beliefs, forcing the issue of togetherness. They both had a lot of pain to deal with. But she carried a lot of immaturities that made me a little crazy. Sienna is an impulsive person and makes rash decisions but i understand why she does that being kinda neglected by her parents she always wanted to prove herself i am so precious of her and her strength she deserves the world🥹💗 I do get a minor say on some things, but I trust Wattpad studios' producers attached to this movie to adapt this book as faithfully as I would like them to! Step one: convince Jax’s rival, Kayden Williams, to train with her. Step two: beat Jax at his own game.

Not only is Claudia Tan skilled in writing MMA fighters (because our girl Sienna is one too), but the chemistry between the characters was off the charts too. Can one woman’s vengeance on her ex lead her to a new love? Or will it tear apart her future forever . . . L’autrice poi è stata bravissima nel farmi percepire l’esatto momento in cui i protagonisti si sono innamorati e l’istante magico in cui hanno rivelato i propri sentimenti.

I really like the pace of the story, it makes you fly through it and something is always happening. I'm not crying. You're crying.By now you've seen it all over social media but I thought I'd jump on here to reiterate this again: THIS IS NOT A DRILL. I REPEAT, NOT A DRILL. Perfect Addiction has officially been ACQUIRED by Constantin Films & Wattpad Studios to become A MOVIE! Both of them need each other more than they think they do. Kayden wants glory and Sienna needs him to fuel her revenge as well as a place to stay. She makes a deal with him to train him for the biggest fight of his life against her own ex-boyfriend in exchange for living in his apartment. Kayden was the yin to Sienna's yang. He was everything that she was missing. Maybe it was the way the character was written or the language, but I couldn't get a read on the kind of personality he had. He was desirable sure, but many aspects of his personality just..... clashed. Their relationship felt toxic a lot of times, which is another thing that didn't work out for me. At one point, the push and pull between the characters became too much for me. Sigh) my love and admiration for Kayden grew more and more as I read. I forgot how much I loved Kayden from when I first read this, and the way he went from grumpy, but also a complete softie for Sienna was everything! I also loved seeing how Kayden was with Sienna such as, “…during those few rare moments when he lets his guard down, theres a kind of genuineness there that softens me and makes me feel all gooey inside.” Honestly same because even I was feeling gooey inside with the moments of sweetness and protectiveness that came off Kayden (sigh) yeah I hope you can tell just how much my love for this tough MMA fighter was STRONG AND IN FULL FORCE! GIMMIE!

This is a story that has a lot of different levels. Many areas are ripe for the roller coaster of emotion as we deal with infidelity, family issues, anger, angst, and love. In terms of the characters, there were a few things that I really loved about Sienna. I adored that she was a fighter, literally seeing she was involved in the world of MMA. She was also a smart character, even if she never went to classes. The thing that I loved the most about Sienna was her drive to get shit done and her desire for revenge. However, a major issue I had with the book was that there was so much internal dialogue from Sienna, that it seemed to overwhelm any plot or description that needed to happen to carry the book.

I feel like the cover doesn't fit the story. It doesn't represent what the story is or fits the mood. Okay, I am SO HAPPY that this book worked for me in ways that Perfect Illusion didn't. I couldn't get through that one, but this one was so fun to read. I liked the side characters Evans and Brent a lot. Their romance was super cute. Honestly, Evans might be the best character in this and he's only a side character sooo

I think the writing definitely improved from book 1 but for me, there's too much describing at times. că nu mă împac bine cu poveștile scrise pe Wattpad și apoi publicate, n-am pornit cu mari așteptări când am ales să citesc “Viciul perfect” alături de Diana și Anto.

Overall, it was a good book, if I put aside some plot holes and language issues, it would have been even better. Okay, first of all, I remember being so in love with this book when I first read it and while reading this book, I got immersed in those feelings again. The only difference I can say from then and now is that the published version is so much better. I don't know how a book that was already so good (from what I remember) could even get better, but Claudia and her team managed to do it.
