The most recently known living condition of a family member is Dan's Grandmother, as he spoke on the phone with her in Dan vs. the Dentist, but she has apparently died since then. Dan has claimed to have stolen her deviled eggs recipe on her death bed, before she could take with her to her grave. In the beginning of Baseball, he was driving home from a funeral, and considering the timeline of the episodes, it was most likely for his Grandmother. Dan also has a dead, successfully wealthy, uncle, as mentioned in Golf. Dan has previously dug up his grave to steal his uncle's suit. Dan briefly mentions his grandfather in Vegetables, stating that he lived a lengthy 108 years.In Dan Vs. Baseball, Dan mentions he's been hit with tear gas so many times it doesn't affect him anymore.
