If you have a complete color set, you can place a hotel in a street on that color set. You can place up to 2 hotels in one street.You complete a color group if you have all the properties for one color. When this happens, you are allowed to place a hotel in any of the properties within a complete color set. If you do not want to pay (or you do not have enough money), this space is your rest space and you do not do anything. There are riches in the vault. These prizes will be received by whoever successfully opens this vault with a correct code. After the vault is opened, it will be refilled with another round of riches and a new code will be set. At any time in the game you can choose to buy, sell or trade with the other properties. You may trade properties, cash, Hotels, and Get Out of Jail Free cards. Also, you can mortgage your property to raise money of your own. When your property is mortgaged, you CANNOT collect rent on that property. You can unmortgage that property by paying the unmortgage cost (always higher than the mortgage sale) so that you can collect rent. The two players in the trade determine what they think is a fair offer. If both players agree to it, the trade is made.If you trade a property with Hotels on it, you will remove the Hotels from the property before you trade it. The player who previously owned the property will get to keep the Hotels. They can put them on another property if it matches the requirements for placing a Hotel. Running Out of Money in Monopoly Secret Vault If there is a hotel(s) in a property that you want to get, that hotel(s) has to be removed first and given to a builder (a previous owner). Then that property is dealt. That property’s color set will become incomplete and it cannot be build with hotels.
