About this deal

In terms of weight and dust capacity, the C1 Junior is similar to the C3 range, although it has a more lightweight design. We found that it’s brilliant for cleaning hard floors and carpets, while also being a solid choice for removing pet hair. The Triflex series doesn’t revolutionise the cordless vacuum market, but there’s no doubt it provides excellent cleaning performance. Our research found that it performs well on both carpets and hard floors, while the handheld mode is useful for car interiors or stairs. If you’re after a genuinely cheap vacuum cleaner, the Numatic Henry or Bosch GL30 are better options, while the excellent Miele Complete C3 Cat & Dog is only marginally pricier and perform better in all respects. Verdict Another feature we love about the Miele CX1 Cat & Dog is that it comes with a lifetime HEPA filter. This makes it an excellent choice for pet owners with allergies. The vacuum’s cyclone also does a good job at separating out smaller dust particles, which helps improve the model’s overall filtration. Secondly, it comes with a range of features that we think are great for pet owners. For example, the Miele has an Active AirClean filter for removing odours when vacuuming. It also comes with Miele’s Turbo Brush for getting rid of pet hair, along with controls to adjust power settings depending on the type of floor. Other features include an automatic bag-shutting mechanism and one-touch rewind for the cable, which are also handy.

Note: Most of Miele’s vacuums are bagged models, although the CX1 series has shown they are just as adept at making bagless vacuums. Which are the Best Miele Vacuums? The lower power settings are ideal for use with the accessories on the likes of curtains and soft furnishings, although none of the tools are very large. Deep crevices won’t be bothered by this crevice tool. Miele Classic C1 Junior PowerLine – Hard Floor Cleaning There’s more. The accessories are conveniently stored on the vacuum cleaner (on a Vario-clip). The Miele Classic C1 also has 6 power settings that make it easy to choose a cleaning mode that matches the task at hand. Customers are obviously impressed with the value of MIELE Classic C1 Junior PowerLine Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner as they’ve rated it in terms of value for money at: 9.2 out of 10. How much do Vacuum cleaners cost on average?Miele is one of the most popular vacuum manufacturers – and for good reason. Our testing has found that the German company produces high-quality vacuum cleaners with excellent performance, durability, and versatility. The Miele Triflex HX2 Cat & Dog is our top recommendation if you’re looking for a Miele cordless vacuum. This vacuum provides powerful suction, a relatively long 60-minute maximum cleaning time, and a detachable handheld mode. The Triflex HX2 also has a motorised brush bar in the main floorhead and a mini turbo tool, so we found it’s great for removing pet hair from carpets and rugs. The Miele Classic C1 is a bagged cylinder vacuum cleaner produced by Miele, a German manufacturer with several awards from Which? magazine. I personally love German brands, and although they don’t win many design contests, they are reliable and perform very well, which is the reason why we bought it. We’ve already mentioned the C3 Cat and Dog, but we think the C3 Complete Comfort PowerLine version also deserves a place on our list of the best Miele vacuum cleaners. It’s a brilliant vacuum cleaner that’s arguably the best cylinder for the price – especially if you don’t have pets. Next up we thought it would be useful to narrow down our search a bit more and only look at Vacuum cleaners made by Miele. We managed to find 10 options at Currys.

Brand, as mentioned earlier, is another really important factor to consider for buying Vacuum cleaners. You’re also going to want to know how durable the product is, so here we’d advise taking a look at the materials that the Vacuum cleaners are made from. Some people have found the vacuum cleaner to be a bit loud. This holds for higher power settings. This is completely understandable in my own opinion. At normal operation, the Miele Classic C1 produces 79dB which is equal to the noise generated by a dishwasher. You should know that lower-power settings are adequate to handle regular cleaning so noise shouldn’t be a problem most of the time

Refine Selection

There’s no vacuum cleaning task you can’t do with the Miele Classic C1, and you’re assured the 20+ years of service. You may have to bear with some higher noise levels when using high-power settings; however, that’s a sacrifice you can make given the great price.

This makes the excellent results from the cleaning tests somewhat misleading. Although the C1 cleans well at maximum power, you won’t want to use it like that most of the time. If you’re looking for a cylinder model that can deal with cat and dog hair, we recommend the Miele C3 Cat & Dog Powerline. It’s one of the best pet vacuums and provides fantastic all-round performance. If you’re looking for a cordless or upright vacuum, the Miele Triflex HX2 Cat & Dog is a good (if expensive) option if you don’t want a cylinder. To summarise, if you’re looking for acheap Miele vacuum cleaner, the Classic C1 Junior is one of the best options. It’s lightweight and relatively inexpensive, yet still has strong suction power and an AirClean filter. We have a complete C3 and have had it a couple of years now, would we have another one? in a nutshell no, no way. We thought the deep cleaning might be of use for an asthma sufferer we have. I can’t say it made any difference but that’s not the complaint.Switch the floor head into hard floor mode and it scoots around on parquet and laminates, although we found the brush design tended to catch deeper tile gaps and grooves in floorboards. Like most Miele bagged vacuums, the C3 Comfort comes with an AirClean Filter to prevent dust from escaping. This isn’t as effective as the company’s HEPA AirClean filter found in the C3 Allergy, but for people who don’t have allergies, it’s still a great choice. Even so, the Miele Triflex HX2 Cat and Dog is brilliant for cleaning pet hair and a match for any other cordless vacuum when cleaning carpets. If you’re looking for a cordless vacuum with the reliability of a Miele, then it’s a great choice. So, if you’re looking for a powerful all-round cylinder vacuum and you don’t have pets, then the Miele Complete C3 Comfort PowerLine is one of the best cylinder vacuum cleaners. It provides excellent suction, has a wide cleaning radius, and is available for a very reasonable price. However, if you have pets, then we recommend the C3 Cat & Dog. This cleaner puts all that power to good use however, with excellent suction on the higher power levels and a basic floor head well designed to get close to the edges of your skirting boards.
