The heat dissipation really surprises me and I am not quite sure how it is achieved. I can touch this grow light even after running it for multiple hours. I am using it to grow hot chili peppers, as well as ornamental plants. For this purpose, I am using a 3×2 feet grow tent where the TS 1000 Full Spectrum Grow Light fits perfectly.

Both King LED and Mars Hydro systems provide full-spectrum lighting with IR (the former also with additional UV) to provide natural light required by plants during different stages of growth. While its average price of per unit density is very cheap.this light puts out enough heat to heat the room slightly, but even in 95 degree days in a home with no AC, tent barely got to 90 In addition, it is so energy efficient that most energy turns into light and not heat I suppose. You’ll note the light intensity hardly fades at all on the Spider Farmer compared to the older boxy purple LED grow lights. Mars Hydro TS Series LED grow lights have been revamped in 2022 with new LED technology, better cooling performance, and smarter wiring, thus, improving the user experience while growing your own plants. The main difference is the brand name premium on Samsung LEDs, which I don’t think justifies a more expensive light. There’s also a negligible difference in LED spectrum color temperature. When you get to the larger sized models, the largest Spider Farmer grow light model (SF-4000) doesn’t compare well to the large HLG grow lights – the HLG 600 and 650R. The SF-4000 uses 450 watts and flowers 4×4 feet, while the HLG 600 and 650R flower 5×5 feet.Mars Hydro TS 3000 uses Epistar LEDs, Spider Farmer SF 4000 uses Samsung. Is there a big difference? No, but some people prefer to pay the premium for Samsung. It uses Samsung LED diodes, and emits a full spectrum including infrared light. All Spider Farmer grow lights will grow your plants from seedling to harvest. One TSW 2000 and get higher light intensity (PPFD), and cover 3x3ft. The Mars Hydro TSW 2000 is similar to buying a HLG 550 V2 at a fraction of the cost.
