Emma Chichester Clark (1955 - ) is a British author and illustrator. Emma always knew she wanted to draw, and began making picture books with sewn-up spines when she was 5-years-old. As a young adult, she was taught by the illustrator Quentin Blake, and wrote her first picture book in 1987. The book offers many opportunities for children to think and talk about their own favourite toys and how they feel about them.
