I have tried different FujiFilm profiles and have found Pro-Neg Hi to be my go to profile for processing my raw files. I find it to have the most true color and temperature to my liking. I find that to be the same in your images for your recipes. That certainly does not mean there is no place for other recipes for different views. Because Superia ZD is more robust, shorter run jobs will look better too, with consistent image quality from the first to last print. Print quality is exceptional - with a specification of 1-99% resolution and 20 µm FM screening, Superia ZD does not require any processing or finishing involving chemistry or gum, so the stability and consistency is actually better than a traditionally processed plate.Fujifilm's next generation processless plate is ready to advance your commercial offset production to new levels of efficiency. With excellent robustness, Superia ZD delivers high run lengths and consistent quality. It is also UV ink compatible. Fujifilm’s processless plate technology features a number of high performance multi-layer coatings. If you’re still reading, I’ll assume you’ve gone through and rated the photos. And if that’s the case, it’s now time for the big reveal. Here are the names of the emulsions assigned to each letter:Of all the films out there, I believe that Superia honestly could serve as a great everyday film for so many photographers. It’s affordable price point combined with good quality makes it very attractive. In ISO 200, 400, and 800 you’re bound to get some of the best colors. But with 1600 you’ll be subjected to a fair amount of grain. You have to come to expect this though as even Fujifilm Natura 1600 was grainy. I’m going to miss natura, but I really like Superia 1600 if you overexpose it. In fact, I’d recommend giving it more than an extra stop of light. I think many of you will really appreciate this film simulation recipe. It has fairly low contrast, but not too low, and produces very nice colors. It has a nostalgic quality to it, since the film that it’s based on was widely used for family snapshots in the 1990’s and 2000’s. You can use it for portraits or street photography or landscapes—really, it’s good for most situations. Unfortunately, as of this writing, this Fujicolor Superia 100 film simulation recipe is only compatible with the Fujifilm X-Pro3, X100V and X-T4 cameras. This recipe does use the new Clarity feature, and you should be aware that it slows down the camera considerably. The gorgeous tones and stunning saturation are traits we most often find in pricier, “professional” film, and it’s even more stunning when we consider the low cost of Superia. This film absolutely shines when capturing vibrant scenes of the natural world, as well as bustling urban cityscapes. Colors are saturated without looking garish, and blues and greens render beautifully. The only caveat with Superia 400’s color rendition in daylight is that it might have a tendency to render lighter skins with a pinkish tone that may be unflattering for portraiture. On balance, over-exposure can help with this as well. As we increase the exposure times we see a shift that pushes dark tones closer to the highlights, tightening the curve, rendering skin brighter and making contrast from facial shadows less visible.
