Esto me lleva al siguiente punto que es que, por el exceso de clichés, la novela es absurdamente predecible, y, por lo mismo, nada tiene el impacto que debería tener. El conflicto final no se siente tan dramático como quisiera porque ya sabes que va a venir, y esto sin contar que el conflicto es absurdamente estúpido porque se hubiera podido resolver con una pequeña charla.

Brendan was really sweet as well. I liked how he was working on making her fall in love with him even when she kept promising him nothing serious. Another thing is the sibling relationship between Piper and Hannah, it was definitely the highlight of the book. I loved how these two were always there for each other. I just totally love this trope. I loved the character development of Piper. I just really liked her and how she was unapologetically herself. We don’t get to see her change herself or her personality for someone, but instead we get to see her find her true self? And just grow? I just loved everything about Piper!About 30% through the book is when Twisted Lies gets spicy. The first spicy scene can be found in chapter 19. Twisted Lies Spicy Chapters Bethany is branching out on her own with her first flip. She likes to portray perfection in absolutely everything she does and she wants this house to be no different. Wes is new to Port Jefferson. He’s arrived in town to look after his niece and is learning everything as he goes. ⁣ she got a choice: Quit and prove all the assholes they were right about her worthlessness or..... finally find something deeper than the shallow, surface level life she has been living. Maybe it was because there were a few times that I did get a little bored or certain parts felt repetitive.

She along with her sister are being sent away from the money, mansions and galas to a remote town near sea, the town she had once called home before the death of her dad. A fitting punishment in the eyes of her stepfather. Piper needs to be taught a lesson any 28 year old woman should have known long prior: aspirations and responsibility.

THIS MAN IS THE BLUEPRINT!!!!! Literally him having a handyman install a foam cover on the bottom of the top bunk bed because she hurt her forehead on it and he NOTICED AND DID NOT LIKE. Best paired with The Best by Tina Turner...and no, not because of Schitt's Creek 😘 This song is so fitting for his book. (the lyrics and the vibe)
