Having recently tried out the Sonik SK-Tek Sleep System, I have to say I slept like a log! The fleece-lined duvet kept me warm, but why should I buy this bedchair? I also really liked how easy this bed chair was to set up. Unfold it, and press the buttons on the legs.
The great thing that stood out to me with this particular bedchair is that it is free-standing, even when folded up. Reimagined, the bedchair utilises a lightweight and compact design, making it easy to take wherever you go! Not only are these sleep systems lightweight, but they are also extremely comfortable. The rectangular frame and spread out leg supports provide a lay-flat bedchair that’s incredibly stable. The wide nature with the squared foot and head provide the angler with plenty of wiggle room, to provide supportive comfort in any position. The JRC Stealth X-Lite Levelbed is the lightest bed on the market and for that reason it deserves a place on this guide.When would I use it? Most likely for a single-day trip or an evening only. To be honest, this probably isn’t going to be the best for multi-day trips, so real enthusiasts may want to look elsewhere. But, for a hard-wearing and great-quality summer fishing chair, why not? To describe this simply, I’d have to say this is one of the best budget carp fishing bedchairs out there. The MF60 is the standard size Indulgence system but options are also available in compact and super-wide. They all feature the same great comfort and all-season protection, it’s just the size that differs. The strong aluminium steel frame is supported with 6 rotating mud feet that allows for a flat and level base to rest on. The legs drop into position through the touch of a button which is a nice touch as it eliminates the need for bending and twisting when setting up. Whether you are an avid angler who spends harsh winter nights on the swim or you’re a fair-weather angler who only does the odd summer overnighter, there are a few features of sleeping bags to consider for your sleeping set-up. What about the sleeping bag, you ask? Well, the ‘duvet’ underside offers up a smooth nylon, so you won’t catch it on anything when you need to tend to a bite.
The mattress isn’t memory foam, but it comes darn close. This is a good thing as you get all the performance without the price tag.
The Nash Indulgence bedchair has been around for years, and now it has had a facelift for 2021. Known for it’s comfort, this new Nash bedchair features their MF60 memory foam mattress, designed to ensure a comfortable nights sleep. deep mattress that is constructed from high-density foam and hollow fill allowing for a soft touch but firm construction This is a durable bedchair for the angler that wants to stay mobile. It’s also a fantastic option for the angler that wants comfort. You’re not going to get the same luxurious levels of comfort as the Indulgence range, but coming in at almost 10kg less, this it’s a no-brainer in my eyes. With a fully adjustable lumbar support section, the bed is ideal for people who require a little more comfort to get a good night’s sleep on the bank. Nash is a popular brand, and they tend not to do things by halves. While this bed chair is a little basic on the face of it, it excels in most areas.
I sampled the bedchair, and I say this because there is also a sleep system available, including a 3-season sleeping bag. Velcro strips on the central underside of the mattress allow for use with all Fox sleeping bag covers. Well, after using this for three nights, I can safely say that I did not want to get out! I don’t think calling it ‘hotel quality’ would be an injustice either. A full sleep system provides you with an all-in-one system that you can start doing nights in instantly. A bedchair alone is not a full system and will need a sleeping bag or fitted duvet to create a suitable sleep system. B) Can You Use a Bedchair Year-Round?
