As Advance Reader Copies of A River Enchanted are beginning to make their way into the world, I thought I should drop a note here about why this novel is adult, and where you can find the content warnings. Some of you might know me from my young adult (YA) novels and may be curious as to why I’m now releasing a fantasy novel for adults. You’ll find a (fairly) succinct answer below, along with a link for the content guide. Please be aware that there will be *** SLIGHT SPOILERS*** in this content guide (although I have done my best to keep it minimal!). As with every book I release into the wild, I know it won’t be for everyone. But if you feel like this story was written just for you…I can assure you, it was indeed.
