About this deal

I consider myself blessed and honoured to have you and I need you to know that I will never take your friendship for granted; literally not even for one day. I love you so much, my amazing friend. With you, my life is more exciting and meaningful, and I will do everything within my power never to jeopardize or take your love for granted. I love you deeply. This doesn't put me off of reading other books by her though, because all books are different as are stories even when related by the same person. Nothing else interested me in the book. Setting, characters, rest of the plot, was nothing different or original. My interest died when the killer was revealed! You’re one of life’s precious gifts to me and as long as there’s breath in me, I will forever love and cherish you. I love you more than love itself, my love.

You Can Trust Me by Gina Blaxill Book Review: You Can Trust Me by Gina Blaxill

I felt quite sorry for Livy in this book, she’d already lost her sister, and her husband had cheated on her, so to lose her best friend (Julia) as well was awful for her. You always see right through me and I don’t want to live another day without an amazing friend like you in my corner. Thanks for being real and thanks for always being there. I love you completely. Really I fluctuate between 2.5 and 3 star rating for this book, it was okay. I have bumped it to 3 as the ending I think salvaged it for me somewhat, but this book is nothing to write home about. I can think of so many other psychological thrillers I have read just this year that top this. It just didn't excite me very much and I was a little bored if I am honest for the first 60%. The book is set over the course of one month and when we first meet Will and Livy they are heading to a party at his bosses house. And we get to meet most of the main characters at this party which was a good way to be introduced to them. All except one – Julia – Livy’s best friend. We have similarities to Close My Eyes too in that there is a another man in the marriage triangle to cloud things, and like CME, in this novel Livy is suspicious of her own husband. Again, she does not know who to trust or what to trust. Very similar concept. A bit too close to make this book more interesting.

A Glamour Best New Summer Thriller • A Paste Must-Read Thriller • A Crime Reads Most Anticipated Crime Novel When Livy arrives at Jula’s flat for a lunch date, she finds her dead, as she did not answer her text the previous night and now feels guilty. Of course, her death was ruled as a suicide; however Livy cannot accept this decision, and begins to dig further to solve the mystery of her friend. She knows her friend loves life, and would never take her own life. What if she was murdered, and by whom? Could the killer be one of Livy’s friends, family or acquaintances? I feel like there can be a sort of stigma that lesser-known books are lesser-known for a reason, but that's absolutely not the case when it comes to books like this. Maybe books about British teens exposing male privilege and the reality of date rape drugs and police bias don't do well for a reason, but they should, they so should, especially when a book is crafted as well as this, deep and emotional, a mystery weaved around hard-hitting topics which YA tends to lean away from sometimes. And it's such a shame, because this book deserves the applause, the commendation. This is your sign to go buy it, buy it now.I may not be perfect but I need you to know that you can always count on me and I will never ever let you down. That’s a promise I’m willing to keep until the end of age. I love you forever.

I love you with every fibre of my being and I will be spending From sunrise to sunset, I will always be there for you and no matter how many miles we’re apart from each other, you will always be here with me – in my heart. I love you beyond the stars. This was a brilliant example of KMod’s talent for creating characters that leave readers speechless. I love that this book further proved that with Kiersten, you could never swallow any detail as too minor. I was really kept guessing as to what exactly happened to Julia and the more secrets got revealed, the further out the net of suspicion fell. And we do know that Julia isn’t paranoid as we are privy to the killers thoughts. We don’t know who he is but we do know he is chillingly emotionless which sent shivers up and down my spine. I had my eye on a few potential suspects included the right person but my list was a little too long for me to take victory from that! But that’s a good thing, I love when the book can maintain the suspense and this one did. Every good book has an ending that ties up the story whilst still making you think about the storyline. What made You Can Trust Me incredible in this respect was how the ending was haunting and sent shivers down my spine. The way that it ended was something that I never could have imagined. As mentioned above, all of the storylines tied together perfectly, and I never dared to believe that all the individual plot points were all linked together in the end!there was a point where i felt like the chapters constantly ended in sudden twists for the sake of it, but each one made sense and had great reasoning, so i wasn't too angry. I received an Advanced Readers' Edition of this book through the Goodreads First Reads giveaway. You Can Trust Me will be published in April 2015. UGH! I haven't liked Marley since the beginning. I always imagined her as an annoying person. I think she has something wrong inside of her head. Maybe it runs in the family and so her and Henry are like twins. Wait are they twins? Are they in the same year? And they killed their parents too...
