About this deal

Once again, this article has to do with the difference between white and teal Makita 18V cordless tools here in the USA. Improved ergonomic soft rubber grip design for vibration absorption and comfortable operation features re-contoured rear grip portion and ribbed grip for improved hold

And there has also corded tools that comes in white color like hammerdrill HR2470 alsol made for makita’s anniversary even has white anglegrinder!”You're right that Makita makes versions with higher torque or other features, but the color alone doesn't signal any real difference from the teal versions. So I guess they are the lower end of the Makita line, but there's also identical teal ones at the lower end too. The rest of my Makita gear is blue bodied and other than being newer and therefore brushless seems of similar good quality.

My experiences with Makita drill are that any with the plastic gearbox housing are a waste of time as soon as the drill / gearbox gets warm the bearing race held in the plastic gearbox develops play in the housing. Supplied in white, with 1x 18v 5.0Ah Battery, DC18RC Fast Charger & Makpac Connector Case Type 2 with Inlay. The cheaper offerings are cheaper for a reason, Makita are still worth the money IMO, their spares can be cheaper than other makes too. I've only seen the 2 cheapest models made in white, I have them both in green. EDIT & Disclosure: This article is discussing the differences in color of Makita 18V Power Tools here in the USA. What is discussed here is specific to the North American variants of these Makita power tools. I understand that in other parts of the world Makita offers an assortment of colors for their power tools. I have a white drill and it has the exact same model number (except one letter which presumably denotes it’s colour) as the turquoise equivalent. It was exactly the same price too (body only). I seem to remember reading somewhere that if bought as a kit, the white stuff came with smaller batteries as it was supposed to be “compact”. Makita is a global brand of professional power tools and accessories, renowned for quality and performance. Whether it's a small and lightweight drill driver or a large, heavy duty and high power hammer drill, you can count on Makita to provide a drill that works.

The DF330 is 10.8/12V cordless tool. This article is talking about 18V Makita tools here in the USA. Mmm ho comprato 2 avvitatori e 2 batterie avviatatori linea classica, le batterie bianche…. Ora le 4 batterie che ho nere me le do in faccia dato che non sono compatibili anche se tutto 18vThe soft grip handle allows for comfortable use over extended periods, while the twin LED lights brighten up your work area. The drill is equipped with a battery protection circuit to prevent any damages from over-discharge, overload and high temperatures. The Makita DHP482WZ 18V LXT Combi Drill from ITS is a powerful and useful ‘all-rounder’ power tool for use at home and on jobs.

Where did you buy it? Big box stores like Screwfix get Makita to make them a batch of drills to a price so they can sell them cheaper. To keep the cost low Makita might use lighter duty components inside, giving a lower spec drill! Often if you google the model number on a Screwfix drill you'll discover that its only available from the Kingfisher group stores. The model number often has an extra letter or 2 added at the end to distinguish it. When your livelihood depends on having a top quality power drill, the brand you can count on to deliver is Makita. Makita has a solid reputation for manufacturing drills that are reliable, versatile and durable. This company produces a good range of models so you are sure to find the one among the Makita drill drivers that best fits your needs.

Compact depending on how you look at it as the size and capacity of the battery does nothing to shorten the length. Makita's 18V LXT System is the world’s largest 18V slide-style battery system with over 300 tools. LXT tools have purpose-built motors, battery technology, and enhanced White Makitas are good tools (especially compared to most), but you can only call them the lower end of the Makita spectrum since they make a lot of tools also and make some really heavy duty versions. I don't know about Canada, but in the US the full line of Makita tools also includes teal tools that are identical to the white ones but just come with larger batteries. The teal versions of the white ones have the same exact tool specs, just different batteries. I spoke with Wayne H. the communications manager for Makita and asked him what the differences were between the white and teal 18v models. His response was that Makita makes only heavy duty tools and the white models were their “compact” models with compactness and lightweight in mind.
