It's quite scary to look at so I'm not sure it's for younger children but I think older children might've grown out of the squeamish type effects this toy has. It depends on how the child you're thinking of getting it for is with regard to the things they like.

I don’t follow Marvel characters, but I gather there is a complex link between Spider-Man and Venom character, and I assume this figure is correct for the 2020 series. (It reminded me of Gene Simmons in full costume.) This falls into two categories: as a toy to be used or something to collect and leave in the box. The latter will be those who are into everything Spiderman or Marvel and will keep it on display with all their other stuff, whilst the former will obviously be younger members of the household that just want to play with it.
