We had a small 3-man Vango tent many years ago and loved it – it was great quality and easy to put up – so when it came to buying a new tent we looked to Vango again.

There were plenty of options out there but the 5-man Farnham 500 tunnel tent looked to be just what we needed… Although designed for a family, there’s certainly no feeling of being squashed in. Of course, depending on how many people are using the tent, space can be limited. But for the most part, the tunnel design of the tent will ensure that everyone has their own space in most instances. Factory Taped Seams - All flysheet and groundsheet seams are factory taped, giving a watertight seal Cable Entry - Neatly feed electrical cables into your tent allowing you to easily keep your camping and personal appliances powered Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.When a zipper is running smoothly, use a dry PTFE spray or silicone spray. Do not spray onto the cloth and preventively spray to prevent future problems.

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time.
