About this deal

yes i thought very anti-bfing makes GF look very pro! however we did use some of the ideas in the book, and he was sleeping all night by 8 weeks.

baby’s nightmarish How a remote programme transformed my baby’s nightmarish

Solutions to common issues and problems , as well as in-depth explanations on how to cope with reflux and dietary related colic. I have also found that she tends to talk about formula feeds rather than BF although there is a bit in there about BF. Just wondering if any BF mothers like myself have successfully used her advice.

Retailers:

The best thing that worked for me was that I stopped bringing her onto the bed to feed her as she used to fall asleep and then would be annoyed when she woke up in her cot. I now cradle her (more tiring for me but it has halved wake ups as I think it keeps her more awake) while I feed her and then she is kinda half asleep/almost asleep when I put her down. Sleep is something all new parents want, both for themselves and their newborn babies. Now, with The Sensational Baby Sleep Plan baby care consultant Alison Scott-Wright takes the stress and tension out of those early weeks and offers the ultimate plan that will ensure your baby sleeps soundly during the day, and for a full 12 hours during the night from around 8-10 weeks, without the need for night feeds! For example, feeding at 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm and bedtime feed at 7pm. Afterwhich, through the night I don’t wake them, I let them sleep and they will naturally start to sleep longer and longer in-between feeds. In desperation to get more sleep I got this book out the library. I have never read such an anti- bf book ever. It makes BW look spot-on!

Solutions to common issues and problems, as well as in-depth explanations on how to cope with reflux and dietary related colic. Apart from the content, the form of the book is also a touch preachy with all the self-promotion. Like with any parenting book, the book spends more time justifying its claims than explaining them. Oh my goodness, this sounds so hard. It’s completely normal to feel frustrated and resentful and burnt out by this, so let those feelings wash over you and don’t beat yourself up for them. A few thoughts: Felt disappointed by the time I got to chapter 7 to actually hear what the technique is with the previous 6 chapters building up to it.

I wonder whether books discussing infant feeding should come under some regulation for their content and advice. Disregards all the SIDS advice by saying babies should sleep on their tummies or wedge on their side! You have to make a decision but it does get easier as you start weaning him on solids. Not right away but he will get into routine.

The Sensational Baby Sleep Plan: A Practical Guide to Sleep

How do you get a 6-month old to take longer naps? I don’t think her reflux is bad enough for medication. What age does it naturally improve? A follow-up guide, helping parents to handle sleep issues in toddlers and children aged over twelve months. There are a number of things for you to look at and unravel - work out how and why you’ve got to the situation you’re in and then you can work out how to change it. How a remote programme transformed my baby’s nightmarish sleep cycle on facebook (opens in a new window) I mix feed (mostly FF) but sounds like tripe to me! And the bit about diluting formula feeds is completetly irresponsible! I'm sorry to say that the book wasn't any good for me but there is another book - the no cry solution, which isn't bad. It gave some good ideas such as using a transitional object for when you transfer the baby from bed to cot. You're getting lots of advice to early wean but don't do it. The recommendation is 6 months for a reason.
