About this deal

Thank you for joining project epicpdf.com one more step for saving everlasting masterpieces of great minds of all nations and times. Relationships can be complicated, but I want you to know it’s okay to be hurt and upset. Feel what you need to feel.” When tourism was connected to beautification, with wildflower trails, wildflower festivals, great gardens, we pretty much took the word beauty out of the sole province of the "ladies at a tea party" to the province of the business community.”

Instead what we got is her falling for him so easily despite everything. Him loving her so easily. Her cheating on her boyfriend so easily. Her going to her boyfriend and breaking up with him so easily…only for him to accept it all so easily. Her whole relationship with the guy is just too easy and too chill and everybody is so okay and so chill to the point that I just thought that it was all weird and annoying. Salem has a traumatic past which she has learnt to cope with (to an extent), she lives with her mother and sister and is a free spirit. Initially I thought her character was bit dull but she grew on me. Also, you'll find yourself questioning her diet, she is a Diet Coke addict👀 (I did judge her a lot for that). She's also dating Caleb (who deserves better). No matter what conditions look like around you—keep on believing, keep on persisting—keep on going—keep on growing. Just like wildflowers grow wherever they choose, no matter the conditions—be and be becoming all that you were created to be and become.” I had this wonderful feeling this would be bought in physical copy like I did Sweet Dandelion and put on my special shelf. I just can’t and I don’t think I’m going to read the sequel. I think I’ll try some of her other books to see if I find a love like Sweet Dandelion! When we begin to live like wildflowers, we put so much of our hearts into blossoming even in the most hostile surroundings.”

But happily-ever-after isn’t a destination. It’s a never-ending road trip with bumps along the way. I also loved Salem's relationship with her mother and also the brutal honesty that came from Salem's therapy copying mechanisms. Their baking was so cute and I loved their bonding in that (I will forever associate cookie dough cupcakes with this book). Honestly, I just wanted to protect Salem and her mum at all costs. Their lives were awful when their husband/father was alive, and yet these woman made it, they survived it, and they fought for their happiness. Ugh, my heart hurts just thinking about them. I feel like this story is like a failed meal…no matter how much spice you add, it still tastes bland. There was no point of this book, it could've easily been an epilogue in the first one. It honestly felt like the author didn't have any heart in writing this. It's so mediocre. Now, six years have passed, and during that time, Salem became a mother to her five-year-old child named Seda. She started a relationship with Caleb and eventually married him, although she knew deep down that she could never love him the same way she loved Thayer. Being a scientist who enjoys experimenting on unsuspecting individuals, she married Caleb with the belief that she could develop love for him.

I was going to give this book 1 star, but the ending made me give 0 (if possible). I can't express my hatred for that devastating and unnecessary situation, and especially how the heroine handled it, I've honestly never met a character as selfish as her, the way she compared the pain of both, and how she wanted him to choose her in that moment that he had lost so and was completely broken.

I would give it one star if I did, and that wouldn't be fair. My rating wouldn't be because the book is poorly written. It's simply because I hated what happened. I'm so angry, I swear I've never felt so angry with a book like this, so this review will be written in the heat of the moment but I'm sure I'll never change my opinion about it, in fact I want to forget that I read it. Sometimes paths aren’t always clear, but as time goes by and you experience life, things start to make more sense.” Salem and Thayer keep their feelings and budding relationship a secret when there is no need. It was the strangest relationship progression I've ever read. So many grand gestures like Thayer building a home gym in his basement just for Salem (we're talking thousands of dollars worth of equipment) but oh no they definitely are NOT dating yet.... But as the story goes on, you truly see how strongly Thayer feels for Salem. I loved all the interactions with Thayer’s son, Forrest. He is such a great kid and he would say the sweetest things to Salem🥺.
