From English language courses to professional standard training in fabric and textiles, we have a range of classes running every week. FabricWorks is the training, production and social enterprise arm of Stitches in Time. It began formally in 2014, matching the need for a London based textile production service with the need for supportive employment opportunities for women with an interest in sewing but with little/no work experience. We assist women facing marginalisation into training and employment, by creating opportunities to learn, gain real experience and learn a trade in a supportive, empowering environment. We now operate an innovative and ethical professional manufacturing service taking commissions from artists, designers and brands who care about who makes their products. We launched our third Mini Stitches collection, a community-made childrenswear brand, designed and made by our FabricWorks social enterprise, providing employment and industry experience to 35 marginalised women. Find out more here. The textile archive - Housed in Limehouse Town Hall, our 50+ textile archive consists of the creative work of over 3000 people in Lodnon, made over the last 20 years. It is a resource for schools and the wider public, documenting various aspects of social and economic history.

Inspired by their rich local knowledge of traditional Bengali cuisine, the project will brought together 30 talented chefs from the borough with women professionals from the food industry in a series of workshops and food events. By inviting established chefs and foodies to share skills, tips and advice, alongside inspiring personal stories, the project aims to challenge stereotypes, build confidence, and create opportunities for local women and aspiring food entrepreneurs.
