About this deal

Agree with you Mike - they obviously haven't stayed in a caravan when it is way below freezing. Totally pointless having good insulation and having to open windows (however little) and little in icy blasts!! Mind you still can't understand why we DIDN'T have any condensation over Hogmanay when it didn't get above zero all week. Wish I knew. We're off to look at motorhomes in Glasgow this weekend - unfortunately has given the two Swift ones we were looking at (amongst others) a minus point before we start as they have metal framed windows. Could be the first time in over 20 years we will buy a non Swift stable product. Unfortunately the alloy framed windows are a typical example of style over function I cannot believe that they are still being used the thermal insulation of the frames is practically zero so if its cold outside the condensation is inevitable it can as mentioned in a previous be reduced by leaving the windows on the night catch, it was the only thing we did not like on our Abbey and the plastic frames were the best thing on our Compass Oddesey they suffered from minimal condensation because of their thermal insulation properties. x 6mm x 4m long | 3mm x 9mm x 4m long | 3mm x 12mm x 4m long | 3mm x 15mm x 4m long | 3mm x 19mm x 4m long | 3mm x 25mm 4m long | 3mm x 30mm 4m long | 3mm x 35mm x 4m long | 3mm x 40mm 4m long | 3mm x 50mm 4m long | 3mm x 100mm x 4m Ideal for people with allergies or sensitive skin, these hypoallergenic gloves are 100% latex free and dermatologically tested. They're thin and supple, yet strong and resistant to bleach. Yep - know that. So that is what the slits are for under the blinds - interesting concept. Wonder if the moisture might find it's way down them into the cavity wall of the caravan when there are extreme temperature differences of inside to out and there is plenty of moisture running down the frames

STRIP - NZ Hardware RAVEN RP67 WATER DEFLECTION STRIP - NZ Hardware

My van is a 2005 Abbey with aluminium window frames and persistent condensation issues with this type of window. They're also treated with an antibacterial treatmentto protect against the development of bacteria and bad odours, so they're ideal for use in your kitchen and bathroom. The Sundance, Bolero & Voyager use the rubber framed windows. The Kontiki & E700 use the aluminium framed windows. As to Swift the company - I can assure you it would be hard to find a company that supports it's products as well as they do. You will have seen they get involved on this forum and listen to what we have to say. Although we dont fit these windows types in our caravans now, condensation was not the reason for the change. We did it to rationalise the amounts variants and sizes we use.p>You can clean your floors in no time at all with this great Spontex Catch & Clean Rubber Broom and Dustpan.

It comes in a stylish blue colour that will add a pop of colour to your home and can be stored in your utility cupboard for whenever you need to sweep up!

This rubber broom is much more efficient than a traditional bristle broom with a clever and effective dustpan that you can really rely on.

You can pop your shoe in... The van has been in storage over the winter and when I was getting it ready to take it to the local dealer this morning for the annual service, I noticed two puddles of water on the inside sill of the frame in the rear toilet compartment. The blind on this window has been half open for the past 5 months to allow air to circulate. The other blinds have been open fully all winter. These sponge scourers will bring a bit of sparkle to your daily washing up routine and make it a fun task rather than a chore. I have been thinking fitting thin strips of foam, (or some thing similar), that would do the job to soak up the moisture. Just been away with our new Elite over the very cold spell - minus 11 one night. We were as snug as a bug with the heating on but next morning the window frames were flooded with condensation !

They are non-scratch so you can feel safe using them to clean your pots and pans and the colourful patterns of the scouring surface of these sponges acts as a protective layer, keeping them efficient for longer. Combining functionality with aesthetics, the colourful patterns of the scouring surface of these sponges acts as a protective layer when in use, keeping them efficient for longer. All the Polyplastic POLYVISION window frames are made from two sections of aluminium profiles joined with a Polyurethane thermal bridge to help prevent cold transfer to the inside of the caravan. I had this problem on my Senator Series 6 (now sold). I solved it by not pulling the blind to it's fullest extent all the way to the bottom - leaving a tiny gap at the very bottom - no more than a centimetre or so, meant that the problem seemed to cure itself. We looked at motor homes before buying our Stirling. We loved the Swift Bolero with silver sides, smart windows and a fantastic interior. But we decided pound for pound the caravan gave us the space we wanted - hence the Elite.Keep your kitchen shiny and clean with this handy two-piece microfibre cloth kit. It includes a kitchen cloth with a 3D weave to wipe away grease and stains as well as an all-purpose cloth for a sparkling finish. For perfect results, use these cloths damp to deep clean your surfaces or dry for sparkling results and... I also doubt you will find a more dedicated group of people that work for them - I have had personnel experience of their dedication and support. I will always buy Swift as a result. x 6mm x 4m long | 1.5mm x 9mm x 4m long | 1.5mm x 12mm x 4m long | 1.5mm x 15mm x 4m long | 1.5mm x 19mm x 4m long | 1.5mm x 25mm 4m long | 1.5mm x 30mm 4m long | 1.5mm x 35mm x 4m long | 1.5mm x 40mm 4m long | 1.5mm x 50mm 4m long | 1.5mm x 100mm x 4m They are four times more resistant to wear and tear and will efficiently clean your surfaces and also dry them 4 times faster.

DRIP STRIP Window Seal Moisture Highly 6M CONDENSATION DRIP STRIP Window Seal Moisture Highly

Can see "Swift" is Reading this thread - is there a modification and if so when are we going to be told? Last winter I had the same problem with one of the side windows to such an extent that the water was getting into the panel below the the window and there was a high meter reading in one particular small area. I removed the blind cassette and used a fan heater to dry out the area and have kept an eye on it using my own Protometer and the readings are acceptable . I did not have time to take readings this morning under the window in the toilet which is in fact the wood panel. Last year my initial thought was the window seal could be leaking although the condensation issue now seems the most likely. Thanks for your comments and whilst talking to your window manufacturers, would you ask about the small slits at the base and if they are there to drain and if yes - where does the water go. We think our caravan is fantastic and can easily put up with condensation. (Lets face it - we only experience it for a few months of the year). I have noticed small slits under the frames that might be there to let the moisture drip away - but where does it go? There are no corresponding slits on the outside of the frames. x 16mm x 3.3m long | 16mm x 20mm x 3.3m long | 16mm x 25mm x 3.3m long | 16mm x 30mm x 3.3m long | 16mm x 40mm x 3.3m long | 16mm x 50mm x 3.3m long | 16mm x 100mm x 3.3m long
