About this deal

Nasal irrigation involves flushing the nasal passages with a saline solution. By washing away excess mucus, as well as allergens, nasal irrigation can reduce inflammation and relieve congestion, runny nose and post-nasal drip. It has also been found to reduce infection and decrease the need for sinus medications. The pulsating action of the Sinugator helps to clean and clear my nasal passages like nothing else I have ever used. It's like I can feel my sinuses opening up, allowing me to breathe more freely and with more ease. It's truly remarkable how effective it is. If you are coming from using a neli pot or one of those hand held devices (in my opinion better than a neli pot) then this might work out well for you. I do find that the pulsing sensation and regular force applied to the water stream effective for my needs. The cost of this compared to my suffering of not having one can’t be overvalued, thankfully it is affordable. I know that I have mentioned it but it is important not to use tap water but to use pre-boiled and cooled water, due to possible infections.

I am very used to the sensation and method to use these types of devices and this one is very similar to what I have used.

It can also be used to control nasal dryness and irritation caused by house dust, fumes, grass, pollen, smoke, or animal dander. Benefits for you Neilmed Sinugator Cordless Pulsating Nasal Wash NeilMed is a patented, Doctor recommended system providing natural relief from the symptoms of allergy and various nasal conditions. Medical research into positive nasal irrigation solutions has shown to provide the most relief to users suffering from allergies and sinus conditions. Pulsating Nasal Wash is an easy to use saline application administered with positive and pulsating pressure to clean and irrigate the nasal passages thoroughly. NeilMed Sinugator relieves any symptoms of nasal allergies and nasal dryness. It is effective for treating sinusitis, rhinitis, allergic asthma, post nasal drip, nasal stuffiness, sinus pressure, and symptoms of cold and flu. The build quality of the Sinugator seemed adequate for the job. It is a little heavy and cumbersome, but that is because I'm used to holding just the "wand" (tip) of the Sinupulse machine I also have. Being an "all in one" type device it is also a little restrictive in how you can position your head and lean as the machine itself has t o remain upright to ensure that all the liquid is used when it is running. Tipping it sideways will leave liquid still in the blue water container. And the fact that it's cordless? Oh, it's like being free to roam the pitch and make my moves without any limitations. I can take it with me wherever I go, whether I'm training on the field or traveling to an away game.

Only use previously boiled water that has thoroughly cooled. Do not use tap water unless sterilized. It probably is the best of what they could make for it to be a portable device. If the blue tank was increased in capacity to 500ml it would probably then be too big to handle, but having got the Sinupulse I do enjoy just having a large tank and then the "wired" wand to apply up to 750ml of pre-mixed water as needed. The flexibility of the wand and its capacity is great, but it costs so much more.

I no longer need to use any regular prescribed treatments, not very effective, and I’m doing much better for using regular daily nasal irrigation. I would be wary about doing this too often, when I’m in a bad way I might increase this up to three times in a day at most, as over use might lead to producing excessive mucous. Also I only use povidone iodine if I am experiencing an infection, again good bacteria up the nostrils is needed to keep things in balance. I had prepared my own in the past, using sodium bicarbonate, kosher salt (no additives) and water. But I am tending to use a lot of the pre made sachets produced by Nelimed, due to the convenience and ease of use, as well as having the exact quantities needed for the measured pre-boiled water used. Bend forward over your sink to your comfort level and tilt your head down. Keeping your mouth open, without holding your breath, place the tip snugly against your right nostril. Press the blue power button until the solution starts draining from your left nostril. Depending on the head position, residual solution may drain from your mouth. We suggest to spit it out, however, there is no harm if accidentally swallowed. Keep pressing the power button until at least 1/4 to 1/2 of the solution is used for one nostril. Stop pressing the power button if you feel any discomfort, pain or pressure during the irrigation.

Soothing, no burning or stinging, large volume & low Pressure™ System for Saline Nasal Irrigation, moisturization & daily nasal hygiene There is a consensus among many ear, nose and throat specialist at leading medical institutions in the USA, Canada, Austrilia, New Zealand, and the UK along with lots of medical research that positive pressure nasal irrigation systems provide the most relief to users suffering from allergies and sinus disease. The NeilMed® Sinus Rinse™ Kit system is the #1 recommended positive pressure system by ENT and Allergy specialists. This mist was the easiest of all the methods I tried because it doesn’t require any prep before use. The pressurized can is ready to go out of the box and comes with three different tip attachments for misting, spraying, and rinsing. The attachments allow for varying pressures, misting being the least amount and rinsing being the most. After trying out all three, it seems that the misting and spraying tips are good for everyday use but less effective for when I was stopped up. On a day I had a stuffy nose, I tried out the rinsing tip, and it helped clear me out almost instantly. Because the tips are detachable, they can be cleaned after every use as recommended.
