About this deal

One of the first issues I encountered with these earphones was the eartips. While they fit snugly in my ears, they caused discomfort after prolonged use, and I found myself needing to take breaks from listening to music to avoid discomfort. This is certainly a problem for anyone who enjoys listening to music for extended periods.

I can still clearly hear the subbass region dispersing or transitioning into the decay stage with a very smooth transition as it goes deeper and deeper. Daily driver transducers: AFUL P8 (Reviewing), Dunu Alpha 3 (Reviewing), Unique Melody MEST III (Reviewing), 300ohm LCP DIY earbuds, Symphonium Meteor, 64 Audio U12T, Campfire Audio Andromeda 2020, Fiio FW5 So, now one more chifi company sees the light of Sean and his olives. But adherence to Harman only gets you so far, and that’s even assuming they hit it in the first place. So now IEF answers the age old question: how good is the Yume actually?Headphones: Mod House Tungsten DS | Final D8000 | ZMF Atrium | ZMF Vérité Closed Stabilized | ZMF Aeolus | Sennheiser HD6xx With an impedance of 32 Ω and a sensitivity of 106 dB/mW, the Yume are not hard to drive at all. In fact, this is about the optimal range in terms of sensitivity level. The Yume do not display hissing issues like some more sensitive IEMs, such as the Shanling ME80. Having said that, it does scale with source and power, source will affect the overall presentation in terms of soundstage and dynamics (based on my own listening experience) It seems that the overall perceived sound/speaker stage dimension is more average. It has an average width, above average height ceiling and sufficient immersive depth to give me a fairly middling head room within my aural sense. Immediately after unboxing, there was a rough texture like that of piezoelectric, but after about 8 hours of aging, the roughness was smoothed out.

Thus, Rinko in a sense is “dynamic-like sounding” yet “has traits of Planar timbre in upper registers”. The sub bass is deep and dynamic, you feel a good amount of reverb without being overwhelming enough to muddy the soundstage. While an external amplifier is not required for the SeeAudio Yume, an amp, such as the iFi ZEN CAN, yields a punchier bass response. Although, the difference compared with using the Yume directly from my laptop or a DAP is subtle. An extremely ergonomic designed shell.Mids are the star of the show because of planar tech and it's definitely has naturalness and openess of headphones not iem . It's very 3d and deep as well . It's also very holographic and doesn't have distortion . The vocals have breath too for both male and female and instrument have note weight and tone which you can identify. I can only imagine how awesome this driver combo will be in qdc but at same time I'm loving the tuning of rinko as much as my other expensive iems. These can hang with the big boys. Budget champ of neutrality versus audiophile’s “female vocals specialist”. Okay bye bye Heart Mirror, yeap this is a clear upgrade path to Heart Mirror, like Yume has that HM niche (enticing female vocals clarity) while also providing a refined soundstage and layering with the instruments. Like Yume is just like a technical Heart Mirror, Heart Mirror users, save up and just be contended with the Yume, you don’t need any more upgrade than this imho. Yume wins

The lower midrange is recessed and lies in a valley between the bass and upper mids. The exaggerated upper mids result in occasional shoutiness and unwanted resonance but the stifled harmonics can be distracting. Treble This is why I mentioned above that Rinko’s "Micro Planar Magnetic Driver" is a new type of Planar Driver that "specializes in a specific frequency band". It is treble only Planar, a micro planar expression actually makes sense to me now.

Features:-

The driver of Rinko didn’t look like conventional Planar Magnetic Driver that we see on, say, 7Hz Timeless or Tangzu Wu Zetian. Accidents, abuse, misuse, improper installation, problems with electrical power, acts of third parties. However, if you're looking for a more midrange focused and neutral signature, with the most natural timbre for the price, I suggest looking for something else. If you simply want a fun, engaging and vivid sound quality with good resolution capabilities then Rinko suits your preference.
