About this deal

This is a trail runner that is reliable in all trail running conditions. My only suggestion for more extreme winter weather (like deeper, wetter snow) would be to utilize its gaiter loops to add a gaiter.

From time to time carriers may deliver earlier or later, or on non working days however this is cannot be guaranteed nor should it be expected.

In this newest version of the Peregrine, the shoe drops weight, simplifies but improves the rugged outsole, uses an efficient midsole, and applies a pared-down upper to create a shoe that excels on fast training runs and races. Our only concern with this version is the durability of its upper, but if you use the shoe for what it’s intended, we think you’ll still get excellent mileage out of them. We dig deep into the Saucony Peregrine 12 in this video review. One, this is what’s used in a lot of their road shoes, this PWRRUN+. It’s a rebound-y, cushiony type of foam. Without doing an entire midsole in it, they use this, so it adds a little extra cushion. It adds a little extra bounce. In comparison to other models, it's the only one to feature a 3-quarter length plate carbon-fibre plate and is the lightest and fastest Saucony trail shoe in the range. It also has a higher drop (6mm) than the Peregrine 12 and Endorphin Trail, which are both 4mm. Saucony Endorphin Edge It’s worth noting that while Saucony has named the shoe after the Peregrine Falcon – a bird that can dive bomb at speeds up to 200 miles (390 km) an hour – this running shoe is not a trail racer.

The Peregrine 12 is comparable to the Brooks Catamount and the Hoka Zinals– other more minimalist, faster trail shoes for mid- to short distances on varied trail terrain. Terrain: The protective shoe for the same terrain as the Endorphin Trail but with a more protective upper suited to dusty paths and gravel. This, along with a clip for gaiters in the forefoot is just one of the nice touches that show Saucony's care for the little things that their runners need. Conclusion The firm ride is stable and feels at home during fast trail runs. Both the forefoot and heel are more than 20 mm tall, so there’s ample cushioning for on-trail comfort. The newly-introduced Pwrrun+ insole also enhances the step-in cushioning. Saucony reduced the amount of padding in the upper to shed weight for this year’s Peregrine update, but it does not compromise comfort. The Peregrine 12 is comfortable for narrow or normal-width feet, but may constrict a wider foot. Additionally, the narrow toe box doesn’t accommodate significant swelling that often occurs on longer efforts.

Heel-to-toe drop

Overall: A- (The Peregrine 12s have become a go-to option for me during the winter months when running in snowy and icy conditions. They’re a great option for tough terrain/conditions while not adding too much weight relative to a typical trainer. The traction provided by the lugs and the grip of the PWRTRAC outsole provide stability on all surfaces.) ) The result is a trail runner that can take on most surfaces, while feeling agile and comfortable all day. The Saucony peregrine 12 are plenty grippy
