The Homestar Flux is a step up from Sega Toys’ original Homestar projector with an updated wattage output for its LEDs. This all sounded very similar to the Sega Homestar Flux that we reviewed, which sits at the top of our best star projectors guide. The most significant notable difference, however, is the huge price disparity. We felt we needed to put it through its paces to see whether it competes with the more widely known, more expensive home planetarium star projectors, given that it seems to have very similar functionality. Pococo claims this is an eco-friendly addition to the star projector collection, so we wanted to examine this more closely as well. The encalife Ambience Galaxy & Star Projector is definitely one of the best star projectors on the market. However, I personally wouldn’t call it a starry sky projector. After all, the encalife Ambience doesn’t really project a starry sky. Instead, the device is a very good encalife Ambience Galaxy & Star Projector. When we reviewed the BlissLights Sky Lite 2.0 review, we found it very easy to set up and liked its easy operation. The National Geographic Astro Planetarium is a high-quality indoor planetarium for a reasonable price that accurately represents the night sky and comes with plenty of extras. There are two projection discs included; one displays 8,000 stars, and the other has guidelines for the major constellations overlaid on them. Crucially, what you see is true to the time and day you set, as we confirmed during our National Geographic Astro Planetarium review.
