About this deal

Highly respected 3rd Party batteries like Watson and Patona, quote capacities that are very similar to the OEM battery’s capacity. My own experience, and that of many others, is that the best 3rd Party batteries can deliver a capacity similar to the OEM batteries

I'm not sure that any camera, except the X-T2, has the correct circuitry to take advantage of the NP-W126s.

I don't think you will see any difference in the X-Pro2 because it was not designed to be take advantage of the features of the NP-W126s. For all versions of Fuji X ILCs except for the X-T2, the NP-W126 or the NP-W126s is the correct battery to use. For the X-T2, the NP-W126 will work if you don't use 4K video.

HS50EXR HS30EXR HS33EXR Will this battery have any safety risks? What is the quality of the Fujifilm NP-W126S compatible battery? Specifications and performance are subject to change without notice. Fujifilm will not be held liable for any errors this manual may contain. The appearance of the product may differ from that described in this manual. Memory Card Capacity This battery is made of top materials of Lithiumion cells that have been safely certified by RoHS, CE, FCC and tested through repeated simulated work and commissioning before they are shipped from the factory. On the other hand, its specifications are based on the original standards such as appearance, interface type, body size, capacity, voltage, charging current and voltage, etc. Is it real Fujifilm NP-W126S compatibility information? Can I charge NP-W126S of the X-T30 with the charger of X-T1 (BC-W126) or do I have to buy a BC-W126S ? I haven’t done any rigorous testing in this area, so far I’ve just tried to put all the brands to a fridge for few days, but haven’t measured any significant loss of charge. Even when not used for a long period, none of my batteries suffered any significant discharge. Battery aging

This issue isn’t that serious on new Fuji cameras (like X-T2 or X-Pro2) since their indicator is more granular and even percentage can be shown. Older cameras (X-T1 or X-Pro1) offer only 4 states of the indicator (Full or 3 bars, 2 bars, 1 bar and Empty). Based on the chart we can deduct how much of the battery remains when there is a change in the battery indicator: Compatibility: FUJIFILM X-Pro2 / X-Pro1 / X-T2 / X-T1 / X-T10 / X-E2S / X-E2 / X-E1 / X-M1 / X-A3 / X-A2 / X-A1 / X-A10 / X100F / FinePix HS50EXR / HS30EXR / HS33EXR The Duracell multi-fit camera battery provides long-lasting lithium-ion power for a range of camera makes and models, allowing hundreds of photos to be taken on a single charge. Well it's nice to know I can buy one of these more expensive NP-W126S batteries and use it in my X-E2 with absolutely zero gain in performance.

This product information is fully applicable to the Fujifilm series compatible batteries, "Fujifilm battery NP-W126S". Essentially, the W126 and S version are interchangeable in all bodies. The S versions run cooler, and consequently are preferable overall. Especially so if you plan to shoot video for several minutes at a time. We offer Fujifilm product accessories with real information and compatibility, which comes entirely from our professional channels and years of sales experience.

Movies: Standard output sensitivity equivalent to ISO 160 – 12800 in increments of 1/3 EV; AUTO; extended output sensitivity equivalent to ISO 25600 In Europe, there are very good Patona Platinum, Patona Premium and ExPro White. All of them offer >90% capacity of the original batteries and also they don’t seem to produce significantly more heat even after some heavy use. We are a manufacturer representative and wholesaler that specializes in Laptop Batteries,Laptop AC Adapters. Apparently the cheapest aftermarket batteries fail pretty bad, but fortunately many brands offer pretty solid competitors to the original batteries. They often have almost the same capacities and also heat management under a heavy load seems to be alright. However, even with a genuinely equivalent capacity to the OEM battery, there may still be differences in power delivery rate, self-discharge rate, and ultimate rate of decline in battery’s SoH (State of Health).

I wonder if the X-T2 detects the difference between the old & new batteries and limits performance with the old - i.e. does not allow boost mode. If so then looks like I need an extra couple of batteries as well as the x-t2. The FX1 charger will report the correct temperature of a thermistor equipped battery, but it does not terminate charging if the battery goes outside the 0°C to 45°C allowable charging temperature range. The user needs to stop the charging process if they notice that the temperature display is approaching the 45°C charge temperature limit." Note: Battery endurance varies with battery charge level and the figures given above are not guaranteed. Battery endurance will decline at low temperatures.
