About this deal

My daughter loves this set. It's beautifully done, colour coordinated everything. Very important it does not take so much space, it is not small in size and not so big. The connection to the TV also worked super fast. We have nothing but joy with it so far. The flagship of the new Nintendo console is, without a doubt, the 7 ”OLED screen. Significantly brighter than older LCDs, it ensures vibrant colours and impressive contrasts. Crisp and fluid, the display reaches a maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, but it is unfortunately not anti-glare and may show some gaps when playing outside. The sound also takes a step forward compared to the previous model thanks to larger and more powerful speakers. New Developments Under the Body Nintendo Switch Online is the Switch’s online subscription service, which debuted shortly after the console launched. The paid service became a requirement to access online multiplayer in 2018, and also gave access to cloud saves and a selection of NES and SNES titles via dedicated apps. The OLED version of Nintendo Switch has no big news inside. The technical characteristics seem to be the same as the past model, starting from the nVidia Tegra X1 processor. The only real change concerns the increase in internal memory, which raises from 32 GB to 64 GB. Even the battery does not bring about improvements. According to Nintendo the battery guarantees a gaming experience that goes from 4.5 to 9 hours. The Joy-Con have remained exactly the same, and sadly there is no support for Bluetooth headphones. Price in Line With the Market While the Samsung Evo Select isn't by any means the fastest SD card in our roundup, it has the most reliable performance and the highest endurance as it it has been designed specifically for high-intensity use. This will disappoint those who were hoping for a more powerful Switch model, which has often been dubbed a "Nintendo Switch Pro". Most Switch games still play perfectly well, of course, but there's no doubt that the console's hardware is beginning to show its age. That's especially true that the PS5 and Xbox Series X are on the market. So who is the Nintendo Switch OLED model for, and is it worth splashing the cash to upgrade if you already own the original Switch or handheld-only Switch Lite? Well, if you’re new to the Switch line, the answer is a definite ‘yes’– this is the best version of Nintendo's ingenious console to date and one that corrects many of the faults of the original model.

Even though the original Nintendo Switch was approaching its fifth anniversary when this released, the Nintendo Switch OLED model offers no performance boost whatsoever. The enhanced display aside, the best Switch games look and play the same as before, with the new console having the same Nvidia Custom Tegra X1 processor and 4GB of RAM as its predecessor. As on the original Switch, Joy-Con controllers can be detached from the side of the unit, allowing you to prop the console on a table or other surface to play with a friend (or stranger) at a moment's notice. The battery life will depend on the games you play. For instance, the battery will last approximately 5.5 hours for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Please note: output via HDMI cable in TV mode. In tabletop mode and handheld mode, the maximum resolution is 1280x720, which matches the screen resolution. Well, that totally depends on the size of the game. A whole load of small ones, a select bunch of mid-sized games, one or two massive games, or — more likely a mix. How long's a piece of string? Users can easily expand storage space using microSDHC or microSDXC cards up to 2TB (sold separately). Please note: the internal battery cannot be removed. If the battery needs to be replaced, it can be replaced for a fee via Nintendo Customer Support

Large items (delivered by two people, such as appliances and furniture) can be returned using our Home Collection service. You're on a tight budget: The SanDisk microSDXC for Nintendo Switch can be pricey. If you're on a tight budget, consider other, non licensed, versions instead. If you want your Switch to be a strictly portable system, the Nintendo Switch Lite is a good option. It’s cheaper than the base model and is slightly smaller, but do keep in mind that, unlike the base model, the Lite’s Joy-Con controllers aren’t detachable, and the console can’t be played on the TV.Please note: this time is an estimate. Actual time may vary depending on individual usage patterns. You're working with limited funds: While the SanDisk 1TB Extreme microSDXC is impressive, it certainly doesn't come cheap. Assuming that Switch OLED will have the same OS footprint as its Switch family siblings, that should leave approximately 57.9GB of useable space on a brand-spanking-new Switch OLED.

Please note: the values have been rounded off to the nearest full value. There also may be some statistical variations on the energy consumption values displayed. The values could also change depending on the usage environment and conditions. Inspired by the human brain — how IBM's latest AI chip could be 25 times more efficient than GPUs by being more integrated — but neither Nvidia nor AMD have to worry just yet These Android apps are nothing but adware, but have been installed over 2 million times already - so uninstall nowI for one think it's cheap of Nintendo not to go with 128 gb. It's supposed to be a premium device. Switch OLED Memory Space Guide Image: Nintendo How Much Internal Storage Space Does Switch OLED Have? The Nintendo Switch OLED lets you choose between two screen settings: Vivid and Standard. Vivid is the default setting and provides extremely punchy and vibrant colors, which many will find pleasing. Standard, meanwhile, is more akin to the original Switch's color setting and provides a more natural and accurate picture. By heading to System Settings > System > Console Screen Vividness, you can see which suits you best. The estimated annual energy consumption of a console when used for gaming an average two hours per day for a whole year. The Switch OLED's display is still only 720p; however, games and text still looked sharp and legible when using the console in a comfortable position. We didn't encounter any motion blur issues, and the display was suitably bright, even in daylight conditions.
